We stayed overnight on our way to South Gippsland. We needed to stop and rest, we also had our small dog which was very appreciative being allowed to stay. Have never stayed in Wangaratta before, it was very nice, close to shops and a beautiful park. Will stay again.

To me, Wangaratta is a hidden gem. I love it!

To me, Wangaratta is a hidden gem. I love it! I first chose it due to its relative proximity to ski fields, but once i visited the first time, i was in love. It is a good size regional centre, has an urban flair, but is immersed in its beautiful parks and bike paths to die for! Great as a hub to explore further out (wine and food, ski fields etc) but also lovely to. chill out by the rivers or some of its many creeks. I recommend a self guided walk around its historic buildings (pick up the map from Info centre), swim under the main bridge in summer, of course ride a bike, it's mostly flat and easy

The Quest apartments had the perfect location in central Wangaratta. Short walk to supermarkets and a large selection of restaurants. We found it a perfect spot to use as a base whilst we explored the local wineries. Our room was the single bedroom unit which included a handy kitchen for quick meals when we didn’t feel like heading out. The unit was fantastic with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Helpful staff rounded out a great experience.

The Parkview Motel and Apartments has everything you need for an overnight stay. The ground floor room was very quiet and clean, and has a pleasant view overlooking the park, a small sofa, tv and a kitchenette with the basic essentials. The room has excellent block out curtains and the bed was extremely comfortable. The very hot water in the shower was a bonus. The location is very good, with a short walk to restaurants, supermarkets and shops. I would stay again.

My wife and I were on our way to the Great Alpine Road (Wangaratta to Bairnsdale). Wished we could have stayed longer in Central Wangaratta Motel as it was superbly clean when we checked in. The staff we've spoken on the phone was accommodating and super flexible in arranging for our late check-in. Everything was straightforward. The best experience was how tidy and clean our room was. Absolutely will come back! Thank you so much. We enjoyed our short stay.

Plesantly surprised how tidy this hotel was. Great bar area with a nice selection of beers on tap and wine selection. The Dinning room menu has a touch of fine dining in the selection, unfortunaltley my partner was a little disappointed with the potatoes cooked in Duck fat.... mushy and oily... not crispy. Breakfast was fantastic and great value! The pool facility, spa and sauna are awesome. Overall, we would definitely stay here again.

The pool and really liked that it is dog friendly accommodation with an area out the back to exercise your dog. The rooms are typical standard motel; clean and good amenities such as toaster, kettle, crockery and cutlery & hair dryer. The pillow was comfortable, the bed was ok (not as comfy as I had expected from other reviews); but better than most motels. The shower was also good - the water pressure was good and large shower head.

I would highly recommend staying at this place. the room interior has very modern decor including the bathroom. It felt like we were in a 4* hotel. The location is excellent - right on the door step to the shopping area. The owner was very friendly and helpful with plenty of useful information about the area. She recommended a great place to eat (Wok In)....they provided milk, water, tea , and cookies etc.

The room was much as expected. It was all the little extras that made our time so comfortable: good quality tea and coffee sachets (rather than the cheap version), an abundance of shampoos and soaps, power blocks on each side of the bed, etc. None of these would have cost much, but the difference they made was immense. Shows a professional and generous approach.

Rooms are lovely and clean and look to be recently renovated. Kids had a great time in the pool and we enjoyed a delicious meal in the on-site restaurant. Hotel is also in a great location as can walk to Main Street and a great park which had a number of easy walking trails. Highly recommend if you are planning a visit to Wangaratta or surrounding area.
