Tullah itself is a village with nothing but a couple of pubs and a small cafe. Its a nice place to stop for the night or even for a couple of nights if you want to do some kayaking and have a relaxed weekend. For enthusiasts it would be a great place to base yourself for quite a few different day walks and ride the steam engine. I think kids and all would love yhe tranquil surrounds and for those who have to, the wifi coverage there is good too!

This house and Tullah itself were a great surprise.
This house and Tullah itself were a great surprise. Beautiful spot and a great house (with wifi). Just across the road from the Tullah lodge and lake side.
We had some great meals at the Lodge as well as gentle walks around the lake.
Great for photography as surrounded by mountains.
Would be good for families as two large bedrooms with comfortable beds and then a bunk room with 4 good size bunks.
Great to be able to catch up with washing and a dryer as well !!

Great location half way between Strahan & Cradle Mountain
Great location half way between Strahan & Cradle Mountain
We didn’t use the shower or heating/ cooling so unable to comment
Huge room, bathroom & family area. Dining table, fridge, microwave, coffee/ tea supplied, kettle, couch, TV, & parking
We could hear footsteps next door; but during the night was quiet
Couch a bit tired & connecting door to who knows where at the back of room, carpet a bit stained
No where to wash dishes or fill kettle other than the bathroom sink
Cleaning of facility was above average
We found the place comfortable

The peace and quiet of the town. Beautiful scenery.
The peace and quiet of the town. Beautiful scenery. Hydro dams and the information boards for each very interesting. Wee George Wood (little train) - interesting short trip and history provided. Self catered for all meals. Very easy to get around Tullah as it is only a very small town.

Tullah is an ex-Hydro workers town, built on the edge of a lake. Rainforest beauty. Boating, fishing, bushwalking, mountain climbing are excellent past-times there - as well as relaxing with a book or music. It is a photographer's dream location. I even saw a platypus swimming near me.
Loved the location….the lake and mountain view were magic! It was a very quiet, peaceful spot, close to lots of walks (Mt Farrell was spectacular), Montezuma Falls….beautiful. The Tullah Tavern was just a stroll up the road, and does pub food, including a great steak. Tullah Hideaway is eco-friendly, which is fantastic to see. (We didn’t have contact with the owner)
The little cabin is completely solar powered and also has an Ev charging station. That's very impressive for this high rainfall area! For us the cabin was cosy, just perfect, because we are familiar with the limitations of Tullah itself and the West Coast in general. Tullah is a very small place in a rainforested area and visitor expectations will vary hugely.
We stopped at Tullah for a night on our way to Cradle Mountain National Park. The rooms are basic but the location on Lake Rosebery is hard to beat. Rooms 1-4 have a lake view. We stayed at corner room No. 4 and it was quiet. The lodge has a bar and restaurant, which is handy as there are no many eating options in Tullah.
Easy parking. Helpful staff.
great location, staff were professional, friendly and very helpful. Our stay was made very comfortable and we felt welcomed. The lake was beautiful and we wished we could have stayed longer. The room was clean and pillows and bed were comfortable. The lodge tavern served excellent pub fare. All in all a pleasant stay after a long day of driving.
Tullah Lakeside Lodge/tavern is just across the road where the 'cafe' flag is. We had a drink out the back, overlooking the beautiful Lake Rosebery. We cooked dinner at the house but the meals there looked great too. Holiday House On Sale is modern, very clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Also has great views of Mt Farrell.
Tullah lakeside lodge is all about the location. Stunning scenery, mirror reflections on the lake and good old fashioned service every time I go there. Recommend staying there anytime of the year it is always welcoming and a great place to stay. Beautiful in winter with the woodheaters going and snow capped mountains.
This was such a comfy place to stay. Wifi, books, jigsaw puzzles; great kitchen and dining table; and ferny garden views from the bedrooms. Very convenient to everything we wanted to do around Tullah. Loved the coffee across the road (with Cleveland the alpaca) and the friendly Tullah Tavern. Would stay again.
Nice cosy cottage, loved the fire and general feel. It was clean. Although it is dated it fits in with the area. No heating in the bedrooms but the electric blankets warm you up in no time at all.
Its walking distance to the Tullah Lodge -which was a surprising find. The cottage cafe is close too.
After a long day driving the unsealed road from Arthur River to Tullah in the rain, we enjoyed the gorgeous views and surroundings of this overnight stay. It was great to have the restaurant and bar at our doorstep and the staff were hospitable and cheery!
In a small town this little place was right in the center and had the only pub in town. The manager Kate, was really accommodating and helpful during our stay. The dinner at the attached pub was good too.
Really enjoyed our stay. There was everything we needed and the place was lovely and clean. The free honey was a lovely touch thank you. Easy walking to dinner at the lodge. Liked Tullah very much.
Quiet little cottage in small town of Tullah. Well stocked with everything you need. Comfortable bed. Lovely little front porch for relaxing and birdwatching. Beautiful maps upstairs.
