Because I grew up in lake Macquarie, I have a fondness for the close proximity of lake, bush and beach. Nothing else comes close to this amount of peace and quiet, its not too touristy, but just busy enough to have a lot of choice regarding food, accommodation and lovely views of the lake!!

We had a nice stop of one night on our way to Sydney driven from Brisbane. It has a great location with near by Coles and Cafe with the beach view. The room is good size for the family of four and it is clean and tidy. We would come back in the future. Toronto is boring, nothing there but the lake, shops are always closing early and there is no night life very little to do especially in winter , summer may be a little better, but not many restaurants either and they pack up quickly, we found we left or went to other locations to eat.

Catalina met all our needs. a lovely peaceful spot, beautiful clean room, good kitchenette, comfortable bed, laundry on site. Peter was caring and helpful when we had to reschedule, and getting an extra night was no problem. Great places for food nearby. Nice lakeside walks at Toronto and Warner’s Bay. We had a great break.

My room was comfortable, with a nice little balcony. The bathroom was clean and well presented. I was working at Eraring, so the location was perfect to travel to and from site, and the onsite parking is good.
