It's a little gem of a place, and telling so many people who have never heard of the place. Our motel was great and the hotel next door was fantastic.
A nice walk along the river. The old bridge so lovely just across the road, travel across and then be into another state.

A small township but enough facilities for an overnight stop to or from Adelaide. Has a few options for evening meals and a nice riverwalk to stretch the legs. Great parks for the kids and the mini golf at the sports club was fun as well.

It is very well located clean and quiet and within very short distances to the hotel next door. Lovely river views although almost flooding have stayed there many times and staff and cleaniness and comfort of room are very good

very quiet but lovely staying on the golf course.
very quiet but lovely staying on the golf course. accommodation at the club was very nice. I wouldn't eat at the club as chinese food is not my favourite, but the pub looked good, would go there next time.

The Sportsman’s Club is the only place for dinner as the pub is closed for much needed renovations.
Fortunately the Sportsman’s Club was excellent- good food and service and value for money .
Beautiful park and playground by the Murray River with a walking path . Perfect!

The town have recently installed a new fully fenced playground and a pontoon. The Golf Club has a play room for school aged kids, and a playpen area for the littlies. I would recommend sticking to basic pub style food at the club, we were disappointed with the international food. Be aware that there is no petrol station in Tooleybuc, but the closest is only a few kms away across the river.
This is a budget motel, but the staff made the difference. They were genuinely friendly and helpful. I think the people who run this motel really care about it, so they are willing to go the extra mile to make people feel comfortable. The room was exceptionally clean, and didn't have any of the musty/bleachy odours that you often find in budget hotels. The location was very quiet with a nice outlook over the golf course. It is an easy walk to the Sporting Club for dinner (plus you get a voucher for a drink).
Tooleybuc is a very small border village with the motel situated on the main street. Nevertheless, the location is quiet and close to the river with its old bridge. There is a nice river park across the road. There's also a sports club with eating facilities within walking distance while the neighbouring pub is being renovated. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with bar fridge and microwave, and the usual kettle and cutlery. The bathroom was clean with good water pressure and shower volume.
We dined at the Tooleybuc Hotel and were offered a complimentary glass of wine because we were staying at the Tooleybuc Club Motor Inn. Good opportunity to discover good local wines by Andrew Pease wines from Swan Hill.
Pleasant walk along the river before dinner.
I have stayed before as a couple. This time I went solo and stayed one night. Cleanliness was obvious and the bed very comfortable. Has a verandah overlooking a very manicured golf course. The Tooleybuc Club is walking distance away for entertainment.
Location to nearest meals and size of rooms, with excellent facilities for tea and coffee. No meals were served on the premises, but an excellent Hotel next door with all the necessary facilities, including fine food.
