Gorgeous seaside town with a beautiful beach and enough options in terms of restaurants and cafes. Gorgeous walk along the cliff tops can be taken from the town centre up along the cliff tops to sunset lookout. Loved Grassroots cafe for breakfast and coffee as well as the pinacolada and garlic prawns at Waves. I wish I'd stayed here for at least one full day.

We were driving the Great Ocean Road from Torquay westward, and we decided to stay two nights in Port Campbell because there are so many beautiful coastal sights and hikes close by. We were glad we made that decision, because we weren't rushed and could enjoy spending time visiting all the "must-see" places nearby.
Port Campbell is a lovely sea side town close to all of the amazing cliffs and rock formations along the Great Ocean Road. We stayed in the cottage. It is decked out with timber and fancy corrugated sheeting which gives it a rustic feel, and is very spacious and was perfectly cleaned. It is also fully equipped with a kitchen, dining, entertainment, washing machine and dryer. The best thing was its location, right on the main street and 5min by foot from the beach and jetty - highly recommended.
Wow! This was amazing, gutted I was only there for one night. My room was amazing, spacious, spotless, comfortable bed, stunning view & the spa bath was a real treat after a long day driving. Ground coffee rather than instant was a much appreciated special touch. Heidi was just awesome, clearly working super hard but still attentive, friendly & pre booking communication from her was superb!! Port Campbell is a lovely wee place & I definitely plan to return. You won't regret staying at Waves.
There were two lovely rabbits around the property, and the location is superb, it's very close to Port Campbell town and the 12 apostles, although it's right on the Great Ocean road, its entrance is private and quiet. Didn't get to use the fireplace but it was a lovely cottage, the aesthetic bedrooms were warm and inviting, we watched Netflix while preparing breakfast and supper from the local produce we bought nearby. The bathroom and shower were clean and hot showers were refreshing.
They gave us a free upgrade to an apartment. The apartment had two bathrooms. The bathroom on the second floor had a big jacuzzi tub and shower. The place also had a living room, kitchen, two big bedrooms and a balcony !!! The ladies that run it could not have been nicer. They were lovely! I would highly recommend staying there if you are staying in the Port Campbell area. The location was very close to the 12 Apostles rock formations along the Great Ocean Road.
Owners Des & Sue gave excellent thoughts to their motel-the perfect layout, outside & in, tables to work & eat on. The bed sheets were sooooo soft & the combo A/C heater worked like a charm. Most of all was their WARM SMILES, even their dog seemed to have a smile, welcoming approach, their personable added touches (chocolates & cookie packs) made you feel as if you were staying with family who gave you privacy. The best kind!
We arrived in Port Campbell after driving from Melbourne along the Great Ocean Road (highly recommended!).
The friendly receptionist offered us a choice of cabins.
The one we chose was at the front. It was comfortable & spacious and had a well-equipped kitchen.
Price was reasonable. Free parking.
The room was lovely. Very clean, modern and fun feel to it. As a solo traveller this room was perfect in size, felt secure and was aesthetically pleasing as well. Very comfortable. It was near local shops and takeaway, easy walk from accommodation. Highly recommend when going to Port Campbell.
Port Campbell is a great place to stay traveling on the Great Ocean Road. Driving back to the Twelve Apostles is easy and quick in the morning and you can have the entire scenic outlook to yourself before everyone else shows up. The hotel is a little old, but clean.
My wife and I spent two nights in unit no. 6, which consisted of a neat and clean room with an en suite bathroom and kitchenette comprising the standard basic motel facilities. The table and sofa contributed to the comfort of the room.
Beautiful boutique hotel, loved the design of it. Had everything we needed. Bed and covers were extremely comfy! Convenient location! Reception/owner was extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful upon arrive and on check in :)
Good location, sea is just the opposite of the hotel. Lots of parking space in front of the hotel. There are some kitchen equipment provided in the room such as toaster, electric kettle, refrigerator, plates and wine opener.
The caravan park is conveniently located near the town centre. It takes about 2mins to walk to the local pub and the sow and piglets brewery. The rooms were clean and tidy, with very good bbq facilities.
The host/receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The guesthouse seems to be very well systemic and organized. Great location waking up seeing the port campbell bay, very nice
Immaculately clean
Excellent position in Port Campbell and for the Great ocean road
Genuine welcome received upon arrival
Good parking and provision of washing machines
