We enjoyed the town, the wineries were lovely, although some don't open during the week, that was disappointing.
People were very friendly, knowledgeable and made our stay very relaxing and enjoyable.
Lake Canobalas was beautiful, child friendly, lovely cafe and lovely place to walk and relax.
Richard our taxi driver went above and beyond organising another driver to pick us up later that night as he was finishing his shift. A big thank you to him.
We went to a few restaurants and they were high end and very good.

Tourist information centre excellent very helpful staff. Toured some of the cellar doors. Travelled to Cowra which was well worth the visit. Also the Ophir Gold where gold first discovered in NSW. Orange central to lots of places of interest. Large town with everything you need. The Ex Services Club excellent for meals.

Orange really has nothing for the tourist.
Orange really has nothing for the tourist. It's a nice town, but you've seen it all in a day or so. It's a bit of a drab place. We ate at local returned servicemens club which was excellent Parking is a pain; it's reverse angle.

The choice of cafes and restaurants was very good.
The Parkview Hotel had good food at a reasonable price.
The service was also good. We walked from De Russie Hotel - about 3 blocks just near the park.
Edward Town House, 151, is in an excellent location. Short walk to local pubs, clubs, main street, shopping and cafes.
We have stayed here on many occasions and always look forward to returning. Great facilities, bbq easy to use, plenty of room in family/kitchen area for 6 adults. Comfy lounge, bluetooth soundbar for streaming your own vibes.
We're already looking forward to our next stay there.
Plus, excellent value for money. Cost way less for two couples than two room at local hotel.
The Sampson feels like a home-from-home - very warm and comfortable. There were lovely little touches, like the items in the pantry (we enjoyed sampling the chocolates!). We were given lots of helpful information about the property and also things to do in the area.
It's located very close to central Orange (walking distance to the CBD) and a good base for exploring the whole area.
Rooms were far enough away from the noise of the hotel that they were quiet and comfortable. There is a locked communal courtyard for the rooms so patrons of the hotel and public can't get near the rooms. Room itself was clean and well equipped, comfy beds and plenty of space. Restaurant/Hotel had great meals and served until 8:30pm.
I liked the location being very convenient to restaurants and public transport. The Indian restaurant on campus was great! Loved the food they served there. The motel had early checkout facilities which made it convenient for us to do early checkouts as we had to leave at dawn to continue our trip.
Fabulous!!!
The hotel and the staff were amazing!
Fit-outs, cleanliness, quality of service exceeded my expectations!!!
Great value for money!
The service especially was exceptional!!! For a moment I thought - am I still in Australia...)))
Stylish and modern hotel located on the outskirts of town, but close to the main public and private hospitals.
Restaurant offered fine dining, but is rather expensive. Set breakfasts, included in base rate, were excellent.
excellent place, I travel around NSW a lot. This place was one of the best if not the best place I have been to. nicely decorated, very clean and very spacious. beds are very comfortable as well. loved it.
The Hotel was quiet after 9pm. The Bistro was excellent. I think the plantation shutters in the rooms are a lovely touch and overall style very nice. The heating and cooling system works really well.
I usually stay in Orange and have stayed at most hotels and this place tops off all places in town.
Feels like home nice clean and new.
The place feels like a 5 star hotel.
Comfy bed and lounge
The room was very clean and quiet. The hotel is central to Orange which made it easy to travel to different locations around Orange. The restaurant downstairs is very good and reasonably priced.
Walking distance to the Main Street of Orange , good value for money , dog friendly with a pleasant outdoor Bar B-Q area. Beds were comfy and there was an abundance of pillows to choose from
A very large space. Much more comfortable and roomier than a hotel room. Very quiet location. Out of the main hub or Orange (out near Lake Canobolas and the wineries) which I loved.
Great location for a weekend trip to Orange. The room was spacious and clean. Staff were helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay again when I come back to Orange
