The hotel was in the centre of the CBD and everything was walkable. Free carparking was provided at the back of the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The price included a free, nice, cooked breakfast. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable and the wifi was great. The room lighting was excellent. Tea and coffee was provided and included some biscuits including a gluten free one. There is a lift to the rooms.
Dinner is available at an additional cost.
We recommend the hotel.

Jennifer is a fantastic host! We stayed there this weekend and it was fantastic. Clean, fresh, fantastic decor and vibe, and amazing hospitality. It felt like a quiet retreat. Would definitely recommend and travel here again. The reception dead zone didn't bother me at all. I would definitely stay here again! Thanks for your hospitality Jennifer:)

We were welcomed by Jennifer with a cup of coffee on arrival. She was a friendly and considerate host. We really enjoyed the home cooked breakfasts.
We spent a morning in comfortable chairs amongst the beautiful, well cared for grounds.
There was a lovely grand piano we played in the old schoolroom there, part of the original Glenburn House.
A great, inspiring getaway from mainstream accommodation.

The cafe (The O"Connell Avenue Cafe) sold the most delightful foods, especially the Greek Salad and coffees/milkshakes; the scones were so light & yummy but the Lemon Meringue Pie was simply scrumptious - we had to go return for some more divine pie. The Cafe is nestled immediately next to paddocks with sheep which gives a peaceful, rural panorama to enjoy as we ate. We loved the little shop next door (Tumblegum) and enjoyed our steak at the Pub on one night also. We also liked buying farm produce (ie sensational duck eggs) from local farms as we drove past.
