The service by the receptionist was fantastic with a late check in. Previously we stayed somewhere else and there was drug deals happening. This was place fantastic, as it was quiet and everyone doing the right thing. It felt safe. Heaps of car parks and the room was what we needed for the night.

Mount Waverley is the bush of the suburbs.
Mount Waverley is the bush of the suburbs. There are plenty of parks and walking trails through bush land.
I would highly recommend Valley reserve for a relaxing, quiet walk.
Pinewood shops have plenty of great places to eat, with lots of variety in cuisine to choose from.
There are numerous bus routes, but it would be easiest to get around with a car.

Mount Waverley is a nice suburb, plenty of green spaces, and access to city via public transport (train station) and close to south-eastern freeway. good local shopping centre (Hamilton Place) plenty of great restaurants and cafes, as well as chemist, supermarkets (Woolies and IGA) op shops, $2 shops, etc.
I booked a Classic Queen room and stayed for three nights. It was a late check-in and I had a small issue getting access to the room, but it was eventually resolved (and the manager was very apologetic.)
The housekeeping was regular and the general amenities were good. Looking at the conditions in the images, I understand this hotel has suffered quite a bit under Victoria's various and repeated lockdowns, and their restaurant has been a casualty as a result.
I would not be against staying again
Breakfast not available. The hotel was chosen on the basis of location so that was fine. Good range of restaurants and cafes nearby. The rooms were very quiet and comfortable. Our rooms sounded much better value for money than those of a similar price in a another hotel booked by the rest of our group.
Exactly what we were looking for. Top class customer service. The staff went out of their way to help us prior and during our stay. With spacious clean rooms (we booked two) and in a great location, this was the perfect accommodation for my family. Thanks to the team at Hotel Bruce County.
The hotel is very conveniently located next to a shopping centre with a good choice of eating options.
The after hours check in process was good with excellent and friendly communication with the hotel.
Very comfortable, met a couple of the hotel residents, very friendly. The cleaningady was very friendly and brought out a couple items that I left in the fridge.
