This is one of many lovely suburbs to stay in the Blue Mountains.
Medlow Bath has a railway station, so you could easily walk to the accommodation at The Chalet and Guesthouse we just reviewed, or to the much more expensive Hydro Majestic. The Hydro has a nice cafe and a lovely outlook. And the tour of the hotel is great! But there are other alternatives for accommodation.

The Winter Garden Restaurant was excellent, we had two evening meals and a High Tea during our stay. We were disappointed The Boiler Room restaurant is only open for lunch and the Asian restaurant hasn't reopened since Covid 19 lockdown. Atmosphere is very good and lounges comfortable for reading and reflecting. History of the Hydro Majestic detailed in the Pavillion was interesting and some pleasant drives in and around the area. Rooms were comfortable and very clean and great pillows.

It is a beautiful area. VERY peaceful.
It is a beautiful area. VERY peaceful. There's lots to do around the area.
Hydro Majestic is a wonderful place to stay. I absolutely loved it. Katoomba is an historical town to visit. Lithgow is an old mining town with old cottages very interesting. The Three Sisters is well worth the trip. You definitely need a car. The evening meal at the Hydro Majestic is outstanding. Just as good is the gorgeous buffet breakfast with the works!

Quiet, Beautiful location.
Quiet, Beautiful location. Nothing much of interest in Medlow Bath with the exception of the Hydro Majestic itself but Katoomba & Blackheath are close by via a short drive or taxi. You’ll need those places for eating out or doing the tourist thing. Easy access to Sydney via the very handy train station

Hydro-Majestic -a very pleasant stay -- recommended.
I was not happy with "booking.com" when I tried to book Jenolan Caves House . Next time I will avoid using this site.
The property is gorgeous. Lisa has designed and decorated it beautifully and nothing is overlooked. The garden is a pleasure to spend time in, the bedrooms are beautiful and the living space a delight. We loved having a REAL coffee machine in the kitchen, filled with coffee beans ready to grind. Lisa herself was a great host and a great communicator. Simply a wonderful stay in the Blue Mountains - thank you.
If your looking for something different and unique I would recommend coming to this place with your parnter for a nice little quite get away, I do not recommend coming here with a larger group or with kids as there is not much spaces in rooms and not much for the children do.
The food is beautiful and the valley view from the hotel is amazing, staff are really nice and bee is very comfortable.
Our hosts were friendly and welcoming. The guest house with its amazing art, ceramics and ambiance was absolutely comfortable and lovely to be in. The cosy fire at night along with David's thoughtfulness were a real bonus. We felt at home but also felt private enough. We will definitely stay here again on out next trip to the Blue Mountains.
The location was good, easy and fast to all local sites. The log cabin is adorable, nicely decorated and perfect for a group of friends or family traveling through the area. The hosts were very accommodating, they answered all questions quickly.
The house was immaculate. I highly recommend this accommodation.
The hotel is beautiful.
It was a heritage building so it does has this vintage feeling, but you can tell that they did a great job at taking care of the building. Both of me and my partner are really impressed by that, and also the hospitality of their staff is really on point.
The hotel was very clean and the staff very helpful and friendly. The beds were comfortable and the views are exceptional. The hotel doesn't have all modern amenities, however we stayed for the nostalgia of the hotel and the views and we were not disappointed.
Location and accommodation were perfect. Host was very welcoming. Our room was very comfortable and appreciated all the little extras that were provided for in the room - very thoughtful. Breakfast was a great selection.
Very beautiful hotel that has great dining place with fireplace, comfortable rooms with everything you need for a couple of nights. Very hospitable owners, great experience overall
Ambience was great as was teh architecture. looked really good from outside. however the rooms were comfortable modern sized hotel rooms with quite poor finish albeit art deco.
Rooms were well decorated & brought back in time.
Loved the large window which made the room feel bigger.
The window view was spectacular
The feel of the Hotel was special
The hotel is very good, but the view was hidden behind a fog, now and again there were some excellent glimpses. Breakfast was very nice and the coffee excellent.
