Unfortunately Halls Creek is suffering from lack of inspiration! Information Centre not open so no information of the area, it is run down and needs a good lot of help from the WA govt to encourage tourism ... There is a lot to see and the history is amazing. Roads are very poor to the sights people wish to see and explore. Indigenous population friendly and I'm sure with a little encouragement & support many would be able to find employment without the constant "put down" there seems to be!
An oasis after a long drive with everything provided within the confines of the hotel. The lovely reception upon arrival provided a welcoming start. Good clean accommodation and good amenities were most welcomed. The restaurant served wholesome and delicious meals and the coffee machine provided a good coffee. Great place to rest and recharge!
In my 11 years of living in the Kimberley I always tried to avoid staying in halls creek due to service I received at the two hotels. So happy to report that this stay was completely different. All staff I met from the front counter to the cleaners were very friendly and helpful... will be coming back. Thanks!
We stopped for one night on he way from Broome to Kununurra as there aren’t many hotels on the way, but found this rather overpriced for the dated room that we got.
The bed was comfortable and the room had a small fridge, which we found handy.

The hotel was so clean considering the age of the property. Similarly the pool area and restaurant were pristine. The manager was exceptionally friendly and certainly is well liked by the staff and the guests.
Simple room but clean neat and comfortable with good shower. Russian Jacks restaurant on site was excellent. We were pleasantly surprised as had heard negative things about Halls Creek.
My second overnight stay and could not fault the reception staff ( friendly and helpful) the meals are great. Will definitely recommend this hotel to friends.
