They were not expecting us until the next day.

They were not expecting us until the next day. They said that this was the fault of booking.com. They did find us a room but it was not the suite that we had booked and paid for. There was no tea towel or dish cloth so we could not wash up our dishes. There were only green tea tea bags and no milk. The location was great and there was offstreet parking but I would definitely not stay there again or use booking.com

It felt like a friendly old style country town but on the coast. The Walkways along the River are great .Well maintained with beautiful old trees along the way with interesting historical information and features. Plenty of clean toilet blocks scattered along the way .Play area for kids and fixed exercise equipment for adults. DJ's Fish shop is a must place to grab some takeaway .Their Famous Seafood basket was great. Pelican café also great .The Pub also has a nice bistro with very nice food .Looking for some great Chinese food ? head to the bowling club , very nice indeed. Fishing facilities along the river are VG , Safe wharfs and small break walls with fish cleaning tables close by. Easy access boat ramps with carparks handy. Greenwell Point is a nice place to relax , expect to have to drive to surrounding beaches and other towns in Jervis bay area but that's all part of the adventure. Nature lovers will appreciate the number of parrots and pelicans that call Greenwell Point their home. A safe just over 2 hour drive from most areas of Sydney makes it easy to get to and to get back home afterwards . Totally recommend Greenwell Point for anyone wishing a holiday that will leave you smiling for a long time to come after your stay. Oh and don't forget to grab some fresh Oysters so nice. Cheers

Great oysters and seafood, great meat from the local butcher. We went mid week and there was no big numbers of day trippers! Quiet, laid bad and rest full. Also went to Culburra Beach and their lookout, fantastic views both up and down the South Coast!!

    The location was perfect.

The location was perfect. The pub and supermarket was in walking distance. The cabin itself was tiny. There was no room for luggage except on the bathroom floor which was very inconvenient. There is no indoor table to sit and eat if the weather was inclement. No saucepans or frying pan only a toaster and electric frying pan. Even with only two people I would recommend staying in a two bedroom cabin for more room. A small detail but annoying is there is only one face washer and the fan in the bathroom is useless.

Greenwell Point is a little of the beaten track place (only 14km of the highway) The shoalhaven river system envelops the point. The water is relatively clear for snorkelling or fishing.Restaurant nearby had won best fish n chips award >The local bowling club was welcoming and friendly offering a courtesy bus and a range of good food options at affordable prices. Greenwell point is also within a half hour drive of stunning Jervis Bay area. Found the area an enjoyable base to explore from.

We stayed in the 3 bedroom house. The furnishings, beds, cleanliness, space and location were exceptional. The views of the surrounding river, featuring boats and pelicans, were stunning and sitting on the balcony watching the scenery was a highlight. The spacious layout and fire pit made for some great entertaining. Another plus was the rumpus room which proved to be a fun space for kids. I would definitely return to stay here again!

The location was really good. It was an easy walk to the jetty and a nice walk around Greenwell Point and the waterfront. The large balcony was good for a large family to sit at. The indoor sitting areas were a bit small for a group of six people. The bedroom behind the front door was weird. Information provided by the owner prior to arriving was good.

A small family managed motel that was clean, well equipped and maintained in a great location. Across the road from the river, a lovely public swimming pool and next door to a great cafe serving delicious breakfast and sumptuous seafood at lunch! A short walk to an IGA and the local hotel with a good bistro and yummy takeaway pizza.

I've already booked to stay there again. Accommodation was OK not great — saved by the generous covered deck at the back, with river views. However, the Greenwell Point location is truly beautiful. The best morning walks ever! Nearby fish and chips shops are how fish and chips used to be in the good old days.

I booked for my elder dad who has some medical conditions, so it is sometimes difficult for him to have a comfortable stay at motels/ hotels. But he said his stay here was lovely, the place was very clean and the staff were very attentive despite his poor English. Thank you.
