Just in Emerald for 2 days. Got everything done that I planned. Good visit. Emerald is a medium sized town and pretty much everything is just a 10 - 15 minute walk away. The golf course is significantly improved over the last few years. Pleasant place to play and Pro Shop staff are really friendly and helpful.
Plenty of dining options from Chinese buffet to pub meals to A-La-Carte restaurants.

Just a stopover, not a lot to see if you arrive mid-afternoon and leave next morning.
Good park with monuments.
Every fast food restaurant you could need.
Small shopping centre but you can get most things a traveler would need and easy to park.

We had a lovely dinner at the Emerald Star Hotel.
Found it a bit strange that the local Woolworths didn't open till 9am unlike in Brisbane that open at 7am. Found an IGA with lovely local bread.
Unfortunately finding a good coffee was a challenge.

Very nice caravan park with cabins.
Very nice caravan park with cabins.
Pet friendly, on-site food van, fire pit and free entertainment.
Dogs stay on a lead at all times regardless of size. I have no issue with this rule and think it’s a good idea. Not everyone loves your fur baby.
The cabins are very clean and comfortable.
Highly recommend.

Emerald was bigger than what we expected so there for the amenities etc were much better than expected , it also still had the charm and welcoming warmth of a country town and all the friendliness that comes with that ! Dig a bit deeper for eating, there are some gems in town and not necessarily the biggest !!

I had never been to Emerald and it was much bigger than I had thought. We had a lovely Chinese smorgasbord take-away for dinner. We filled the car up when we were leaving and it wasn't overpriced and the staff were friendly.
Enjoyed our stay at the Emerald Maraboon Motor Inn. The room was clean, modern and well-appointed. It was a bonus to have the choice of two restaurants either side of the motel!
We had dinner at The Capricornian Restaurant which was excellent - crocodile spring rolls, duck salad and a curry - all delicious.
Great one night stay 🙂
I travel a lot and the bed in the room was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Including my own bed! The person working the reception was lovely and made me instantly feel at ease. The outside of the hotel is deceptive as the inside is modern and the rooms were quiet to spite being in the middle of a busy area.
Wendy met us at reception on arrival and was extremely helpful during our stay. Gave some great touring and eating advice. We were there on the weekend, but the meals were well and truly adequate. Onsite laundry was also appreciated and value for money.
A very clean neat Motel and run well. The best shower pressure we have experienced in two weeks! No restaurant, but they did room service with a reasonable menu and service. Also recommended eating places around town - which we found great.
The food was exceptional and was certainly of a quality we would expect from a high class hotel or restaurant. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much effort. We are very impressed and will certainly be returning.
Emerald Inn was a lovely place to stay for work, the rooms were clean & quaint. The town itself is beautiful & we enjoyed being only a short walk to the centre of town, when we pass through Emerald again we will be back to stay!
Lovely clean and quiet place. Easy access off main road. Close to all shopping and food outlets and great variety. Plan to stay here again . Best part was they are pet friendly which is such a bonus.
Very quiet, really large room, smartcast TV so we could watch Netflix, lovely big chairs to sit in, close to the hotel although it was noisy inside. Close to takeaway places.
Our preferred place to stay in Emerald. Just away from the centre of town but only a short walk to all the town offers. Nice and quiet location with an on-site restaurant,
Large fridge/freezer,
Good lighting,
Ample table space, kitchen chairs and lounge chairs,
Room service available,
Ground floor room,
Convenient location.
