Cunnamulla is surprisingly charming for a little outback town. It's unfortunate the top tourist attraction, "All Aboard: Cunnamulla Off the Rails" is closing down, or perhaps has already. (I was fortunate to see one of the last performances of it.) It alone is worth the trip to this remote spot, if you like travelling. Even without it though, it's worth the long journey to see this town.

Cunnamulla is a small country town.
Cunnamulla is a small country town. It used to be more busy than it is now, as a lot of the properties have been bought out by larger companies, with associated decline of permanent population. There are a couple of pubs, a bowlo, an IGA, a couple of cafes and an information centre (which closed half an hour earlier than advertised, so we missed that, along with the displays they had inside).

Cunnamulla is a small quiet little country town. Worth a stay if only to check out the Club Boutique Hotel. What a treat. An old historic pub but great accommodation, clean and modern bathrooms, friendly staff and great meals.

The tourist information centre and its accompanying experiences was excellent. As a retired couple, with limited mobility, it was good that most things were within walking distance. It could have been more enjoyable if we had had a car, as we had to miss out on a couple of interesting landmarks. Would suggest that visitors drive to Cunnamulla rather than rely on the coach service provided by Qld. rail.
Club Boutique hotel combines old style country pub with quality. We loved the quality bed linen, the comfortable furnishings, good coffee, frig in the room.
The location is perfect and you can walk to the centre easily. The dining is excellent. The owner/manager was brought up in the town and is a most interesting person to talk with. We highly recommend this accommodation and stayed on our forward and return trip
Cheap accommodation most suitable for a 1 night stay. The owners were super friendly. The dining room offered a great menu and the food was excellent. Our hotel room was very clean. After dinner we had a drink in the public bar and got to chat with some of the locals which we found a great experience.
Very friendly staff, especially 'Doug', not sure whether he was the owner or the manager. The pub meals were excellent and very good value . My room was quite large and the bed was very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel as a place to stay in Cunnamulla
Quirky hotel with lots of character. Staff couldn’t do enough - even arranging to have forgotten item delivered to next town 200ks away after we’d left. Great food - very good value. Pretty garden full of flowers.
Pleasant welcome on arrival. While I was waiting for my dinner order that night the owner gave me an album of old photos of the Cunnamulla area, taken in the 1930's to 50's, to look through. Much appreciated!
We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was exceptional. The new owners had taken over the motel three days prior to our stay. They were still finding their feet but they were really lovely people.
Very good hotel old style and it had a great owner, very good location , dining was good the ribs are a recommendation , off road parking we were very happy with our stay
A lovely country hotel. bed was comfy and it was close to everything we needed. gated parking at rear which was good and the lady doing everything was fantastic.
