What's not to like Central Tilba is unchanged for a hundred years the historic buildings the variety of business types like leather goods, artworks, cheese factory, antiques and the Tilba Sweet Spot old time lolly shop is to die for. There is an old Aussie style pub the Dromedary Hotel with great food. Our B&B/Hotel was excellent chock full of old-world charm. So, what are you waiting for GO!

Fantastic place, lots of history, great customer service by businesses, good spread of Cafe’s, bars, Nick Nack shops (soaps, jewellery and candles, grocery shop, info centre and fuel available. Central Tilba is also the home of the ABC cheese factory - nice tasting cheese abs and awesome selection of local honeys. We mainly ate at the Tilba teapot cafe. Its only one Main Street so finding your way around is easy. The beach is only 5 minutes away - Mystery Bay, the other bleachers are about 15 to 20 minutes away. We went to Bermagui (coastal town 20 minutes away) and saw Seals which were sun baking off the entry of the bay. The Blue Pool was also a highlight at Bermagui amazing formation with a great back story.

The village is charming.
The village is charming. There is an excellent variety of shops, cafes, a brilliant pub (Hotel Dromedary) and the bakery was very good. In addition, the ABC Cheese Factory has an excellent selection of cheeses and local produce.
Beautiful place to stay. Perfectly situated on the Main Street. The room we stayed in was the old Post office. beautiful views of the jersey cows out the window. Had a great meal at the hotel an easy walk only a couple of doors up. Breakfast was a very generous stay including some lovely options from the Tilba dairy. we enjoyed so much that we purchased some more of their products to take home with us.
Absolutely loved staying in an historic house with all its quirks and character. Our room was wonderful - the Dame Zara room. It had everything we needed including an electric blanket on the bed and heater in the room. We enjoyed breakfast on the balcony overlooking Central Tilba on Saturday morning. The kitchen had plenty of teas to choose from and a coffee machine. Nice continental breakfast.
Henkley Cottage is situated in a beautiful, quiet location, with the farm gate just a kilometre from Central Tilba. The newly built, semi detached cottages are clean and spacious with each having its own small verandah overlooking farmland. A very pleasant place to return to after a day out and about. We enjoyed our stay.
Tilba Central is a very quirky small village with Potters, Cheese, woodcraft, etc. The Hotel was very much integrated with that. An honest hotel with lovely owners, good service and enthousiasm. It was not a 5 star hotel, however we did not want or ecpected that. We felt very happy and cared for.
The property is in a lovely setting just out of Central Tilba. The room and bathroom are a good size and very clean. Cynthia (property manager) came on site each day to set out breakfast and resolve any issues. She was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The bed was very comfortable.
The farm stay was beautiful- waking up to the sunrise and walking with the sheep and chickens. Central Tilba was only a minute away. It was so relaxing and the owners are really friendly and kind.
Quiet beautiful location. Close to beaches and interesting nearby towns like Bermagui and Narooma. Also central Tilba had a nice friendly pub and cafes and shops.
