Second time I've stay at the corner hotel and eaten at there restaurant there famous Parma's where dry and over cooked. Ordered a chicken dish with salad someone needs to tell the chief that a salad is not leaves with a dressing. A friend ordered the roast which they run out of but didn't inform them with another choice just substituted the meal.

Alexandra is a lovely Victorian country town - not too big, not too small.
It's a great launching place for exploring the region - wineries, rail trail, boating, fishing, camping, bike riding - all good outdoor stuff..
There are food and accomodation options to suit all budgets
The staff I met at the places I visited - supermarket, hotel and motor inn, local shops - were all very friendly and helpful.
I felt welcome in Alexandra and look forward to returning to explore further.

Located in a very picturesque part of Victoria, Alexandra is quite a central place to stay. With short trips to trips to Mt Buller, Mansfield, Healesville and Lake Eildon; there is much to see and do in the area
The Alexandra Hotel is quaint and it has retained its old style architecture having a large veranda surrounding the top floor accomodation
The staff are extremely helpful and the meals are delicious
I would highly recommend a stay here if you appreciate old-style hotel accomodation including shared shower and bathroom

The service was great, the staff were very friendly, meals were really yummy at the Corner Hotel in Alexandra. We stayed there travelling back from Lake Eildon to see the high water.
Have been to Alexandra prior. Would certainly go back there! Small and quaint town.
That's a part of Victoria that we did not know. The area is fabulous. So tranquil. The views astounding when on a high point. The food was exceptionally good in one of the cafes that we had breakfast. I was quite surprised to have extremely good quality breakfast. I have not had a gluten free slice of bread for years and it was so good. No adverse reaction. I am very impressed. Nice part of beautiful Australia. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Alexandra. The bed at the motor inn was amazingly of high quality, too.
Our room was spacious with a little table and chairs and a couch. If the weather was good and you had time, there was a table and chairs on a little verandah that overlooked a garden and pool. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The motel is situated very close to the Alexandra main street so easy access to shops and restaurants.
The manager, Mario is a real professional. He was very welcoming, warm, polite and helpful, I would stay again just because of him. Added bonus, the food is good quality and the interior in the common area are tastefully modern. The room what I expected from an 150 years old hotel, room was clean and the bed comfy.
Location which is near to many visit worthy places.
Cafes, stores and parks in walk able distance.
Had restaurant within the premises which severed good food.
Bed was very cosy and comfortable.
Staff were friendly at times.
Very relaxed and casual farm stay in old farm house. Our toddler was free to roam, engage with animals, play in sandpit and enjoy toys. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Located within an easy drive into Alexandra.
Great location to explore the area around Alexandra and Eildon if you aren't camping at the lake. Nice studio cabin with the kitchen, dining and bed in one big room. Very quiet despite the proximity of the highway.
lovely ambience - old country hotel - but with interesting modernisations - tasteful, sort of French style. Gracious, thoughtful details - I loved it. Would certainly look forward to staying there again.
Great pub with amazing food and local beers. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating for our bikes since we rode to Alexandra from Yea via the rail trail.
Staff day off on a Monday, however we were made to feel at home with easy prearranged access and the lights on. The hotel is very well located in the centre of town.
Small but very comfortable hotel. Rooms were very well-designed and a lot of thoughtful touches. Environmentally conscious and friendly and the friendliest owners.
