Location was conveniently close to everything we wanted to visit.
A BBQ was a delight, considering the good weather and the brand new deck.
Onsite parking was a bonus.
Host communication was pretty good.
Located 1640 feet from the gates of Larnach Castle, Camp Estate offers modern rooms with views of the surrounding countryside and toward the harbor.

The rooms are very luxurious with beautiful amenities. The bath tub was huge, great views from the property. The staff were incredibly helpful & kind. I did not realize breakfast was included so that was a nice surprise to have a home cooked breakfast to order. We stayed for 2 nights. Thank you so much. Also the pillows and bed were 10/10 comfy!

Absolute marvelous place to stay. Book for a week, you won't regret it. We stayed 3 nights and desperately wanted to stay longer. Not only are the views stunning, but the cottage itself is so very charming. We stayed during really cold winter nights and the fireplace kept the whole cottage warm -- and it was so romantic. We loved cooking in the perfect little kitchen that had all the amenities we could hope for, and all very high quality. There was even a fancy espresso machine but that's way above our capabilities! There was also a plunger coffee maker which is more our speed. Anna provided us with eggs, butter, incredible jams, fresh milk, homemade muesli, artisan bread, homemade yogurt -- it was a feast. She even went above and beyond and provided my husband Tim with gluten free sourdough bread and muesli. And that bread was so delicious I ended up eating it myself. The bedroom is upstairs in a spacious loft with its own balcony. Bed is huge and comfortable and linens are extra luxurious. The Bathroom is lovely too, very modern. And the shower is a highlight. You can slide open the door on the other side of the shower and you are showering outside! I found the whole place immaculately clean, and I am very picky. There are several decks for sipping wine or having breakfast. We had the most glorious time.
Featuring free WiFi and a terrace, Artica Art & Accommodations offers accommodations in Port Chalmers, 12 minutes' drive from Dunedin CBD and 31 minutes' drive from Larnach Castle.

Lovely large room and spotlessly clean. Nice little extra touches, hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Lovely views and quiet area, close to the albatross viewing and Lanarch Castle. We really enjoyed our meal at the 1908 restaurant which is very close by. We would definitely stay again.

The view is lovely and the birds beautifully vocal in the morning. The studio was fabulously clean and airy. It was very well equipped. The bed was a bit too firm for my comfort although suited my husband perfectly. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

it is picturesque, close to Dunedin, north-facing and sunny, native trees and birds enhance the experience, and the harbour location adds to the tranquility. It's also close to other natural attractions on the Otago Peninsula.
A charming cottage, comfortably appointed and with so much character. Super quiet at night, we thought it was a great base from which to explore the Otago Peninsula, handy for the albatross colony and penguins, and close to Portobello for grocery shopping and dining. The lovely garden was in its summer glory, full of flowers and herbs and vegetables which we were encouraged to use during our stay. Cooking facilities were simple but effective and we were nice and warm on a coolish night. Really delightful, we'd stay again.
Great hospitality from Brenda the owner. Lovely birdsong from bellbirds and tuis in the the morning. Well kept garden and the deck is nice. Nice location on hillside with peep views of Portobello and the adjacent Bay. Close to town and food. Good access to hiking spots like Sandymount Wildlife Refuge and Allan's Beach, close to Highcliff Road. Very good pricing.
Beautiful house with sea view and gardens with birdsong. Underfloor heating in the bathroom did the chilly mornings and evenings was most welcome. Loved the fact you could walk into Portobello along a back-garden trail. Anna friendly and made ideal suggestions re where to go; also made the best scrambled eggs! 😋
Brenda is an excellent host. The location in Portobello ist wonderful and the view stunning. Brenda gave us support in the planning of our activities. We spent a very pleasant time in Portobello and the B&B.
