A surprise for us as we didn't research the area before...
A surprise for us as we didn't research the area before booking to stay there, so discovered it was a gold mining centre and still has the oldest continously run post office which is very cute - a must see if you stay there. Nice restaurant there and lots of architectural history on show!

The room is small but comfortable. Ophir is interesting and the Vestry is near Pitches Store - fantastic, you need to book, they do breakfast at 10 am as well,
