Access to excellent art museum and exhibitions, with good opening hours. Pleasant strolls in and around the town. In late September there was not much choice of restaurants but the service and meal quality are good. In the absence of a car the opportunity to visit other villages up and down the beautiful valley of the Loue by local bus is quite restricted in timings - inevitable in this very rural region !

The proprietress was friendly and helpful and allowed us to use her kitchen to heat some food and eat it on the terrace. Ornans itself is a lovely small town. We had booked the smaller room but chose to upgrade to a lovely larger one with large bathroom, as we were staying two nights. The house is full of character in an artistic way reminiscent of a bygone era.

The hotel was on the edge of a lovely tourist town. The car park is a little tricky to find, but good. The room was nice. We asked for a twin room, and received a large room with a twin and single bed. It was very comfortable. Breakfast was also good. Busy, but a good selection. Take a little walk into the town, it is really worth it.

The house is very near downtown and has all you need to spend a wonderful time, including reading by the edge of the river. Sonia is a very warm and attentive host. The small house is very well equipped: good kitchen, good bathroom. Modern, comfortable furniture. A fine bed. The view of the valley from the house is beautiful.
