This is a darling historic property, tastefully updated and very comfortable. The location is wonderful, within walking distance to several champagne cellars and restaurants, in the charming village of Ay. The proprietor, Corinne, is an absolute delight and very knowledgeable. Breakfast was very French and delicious.

Cozy place, feel like visiting family. Small hotel with just 3 rooms is run by couple. Absolutely great French-style breakfast with freshly-backed croissants, cheese, coffee, juice... Great benefit is that is was served for the time we've asked, so we didn't need to rush and colud sleep late). Though it's an old house, property is fully renovated and super clean. Additional benefit - private parking. Thanks for welcoming us. I definitely would like to come back!

The kindness and thoughtfulness of the owner. Amazing communication . Cedric provided much appreciated and many staples including a welcoming bottle of champagne.. Doesn’t get much better than this. The apartment was nicely furnished, cozy and bed comfortable. Would stay again in a heartbeat. One of the best accommodations of our trip. It was also great to have a washing machine. He even had e-bikes for us to rent. Kudos to our hosts.

A cozy hotel (only 4 rooms!) in a renovated, beautiful old building with helpful and friendly staff. The room was clean and comfortable. Located in Ay, it is a great base for discovering Champagne houses in the region. We were there off-season, so the town was pretty quiet. The breakfast was excellent, and the large communal table for all the guests enabled us to get to know the other Champagne enthusiast travelers who were also staying there. We stayed here for one night, but we wish we could have stayed longer. We also enjoyed the tasting of a selection of the Collery Champagnes in the next door tasting room, tempting us to buy a few bottles to take back. Highly recommended. We will certainly be back.
