Although I stayed far from the village, I did visit the village to eat dinner at the fabulous Ristorante Daniela. I learnt there are hot springs, and hot baths that you can walk to and bathe for free. It was too hot now in July to try these out, but it would be fantastic in cooler weather.

The guesthouse is small and charming in a lovely location, and staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome.
