This is a large apartment with backyard (flowers, birds, bench, chairs and a stray cat) in a historic building; by local standards it can be considered a house (a door from the street). The location is exceptional - on a walking distance from everything (do not miss Las Lilas and Osvaldo Gasparini - they are very close and you will be pleasantly surprised). In this house, you will live a couple days in, roughly, the end of 19 - beginning of 20 century. You will be like inside a movie. And yes, if you use tap water for your tea, let it flow for awhile before collecting. And yes, you will take a picture of the toilet (here we are not spoiling the surprise). You may cook for yourself - everything is in place. It is not luxurious but exceptionally atmospheric. We were in touch with our host, Santiago, via WhatsApp; our car driver called him and we got the key in 5 minutes; gave it back when our host got to the place exactly at the agreed time. Notice that the bus station in Areco (that one on all the maps and Internet) is not operational; the buses leave from a gas station across the highway (still, 15 min walk from the house).
