I like to travel and I've been lucky enough to visit many places. But, this hotel surpassed everything so far. It has a very nice room and a panoramic view of the sea. The maids are very nice and friendly and cleaned the room every day as if we were arriving that day. The breakfast buffet is very tasty and has many choices. The hotel is close to the beach, a 10-15 minute walk away.
I'll save the best for last. The staff is extremely friendly, kind, attentive and helpful. We always approached them with any questions or requests, and they ALWAYS helped us in a friendly and kind way.
I would like to thank ALL hotel employees for their EXCELLENT work. Thank you for the FANTASTIC week we spent there. :)

Platis Yialos is a very nice beach.
Platis Yialos is a very nice beach. There is a charge for the use of the sunbeds which is quite expensive. There is a good beach bar called Yialo Yialo. They serve good food and the staff are very nice in there. Do not go to the DK Oyster bar, this is the bar with the black umbrella's outside on the beach. They have a terrible reputation for ripping people off, sometimes for 100's of Euros. This happened to me a number of years ago and happened to another resident in our hotel this year. She was charged 500 Euros for not very many drinks and something to eat!

The beach is well organised, with many restaurant options. There’s a 5 stars hotel, with a beach bar called Branco, which was really good. I’d say that 85% of the beach is covered by the sun beds for rental. The remaining part is public, so people can lay down on the sand on their own towels. The hotel is charming and the staff did everything they could so we had an enjoyable stay - including organising transfers. The location is perfect - it'll take you 2 minutes walking to Platis Gialos (where you can also get the cheap water taxi to most beaches) and 5 minutes to Psarou, which are 2 of the best beaches in Mykonos. Location is great as it is 5/10 mins to psarou and platis yialos beaches, and 10 mins drive into the town. The hotels taxi/transfer service was great and made it simple to organise lifts. All the staff were very helpful and George is the man for tips of what to do and how not to get ripped off - easy in Mykonos!
