The location of the hotel was the only good thing about my stay. There was a lot of restaurants nearby, as well as a grocery store. I reserved 2 smoking rooms. But when I arrived I was given 1 smoking room and 1 non-smoking room. The room that was smoking had a non working toilet. The manager told me that when Booking.com submitted my reservation they didn't request a smoking room. So after a little back and forth both rooms were changed. But they were full of roaches, both rooms! And my shower floor was so nasty I couldn't shower the first night. And I had them to replace the shower curtain which clearly had blood on it. Terrible experience!

LOVED the Honey Island Swamp Tour. The Salmen Camp nature park was great. LOVED the hospitality and friendliness of EVERYONE. The "Pelicans" around town are so fun to see. Very creative ! Peck's Seafood was awesome I have a garlic allergy and they accommodated me without a lot of difficulty. When asked for suggestions on what to see or how to get somewhere everyone was super helpful and friendly

Really nice, clean, affordable hotel in a great location - near the highway, but not so close you hear the highway noise.
The check-in staff are always great, and so are the housekeeping staff.
Very clean, safe, modern hotel at a fair price!

We spent less than 8hrs total in this facility and we had the worst check in. We got there tired from 8hrs driving. The receptionist was rude as all get out. We were told once we arrived we could pay with cash rather than remining on the same booked card that was a lie. Rolling her eyes. The restuarants near the area all decided to close the drive thrus an hour early even thought he sign posted open. So young and didnt want to work . Same as the receptionist.

Easy access to a number of places, New Orleans only 30 minute drive, very easy access. There were a number of attractions available locally and I used as a base for local attractions. Plenty of local restaurants and I also visited the old towne.
The room was massive, huge ceilings. Beautiful layout and so clean and fresh. The bathroom was huge and nice modern shower. Loves the bottles hung on the wall with shampoo/conditioner and soap. It was lavender and it was amazing, helped me sleep. The room was super modern and well. The only complaint was the bed was to form for me. But that could always be best for someone else. Overall I was shocked at how nice this room and hotel was.
Clean room, quiet stay, close to interstate, friendly staff, restaurants were easy to find also.
The Slidell hotel was well managed unlike the first hotel choice I had booked at the WyndhamWest Bank New Orleans where I first booked but the chose NOT to stay at that particular one because of the vagrants that frequent the area therefore we chose the Slidell Wyndham Hotel instead.
The guy on duty the evening of the 15th was phenomenal! He was busting his tail to make sure all of the guests needs were met. Kuddos to him. Also, the maintenance staff appeared to be working to fix the pool temperature, remodel a room, etc. We hardly ever actually see hotel maintenance, so at least that let's us know they are responsive to issues.
The location was not bad. The Service was a nightmare, we had a double queen room. One of the bed had hair all on it and was not clean at all. Second we confined to one bed than they did not clean the room after the 1st night. We had go to the front desk to get towels to shower. It was the worst trip ever in this hotel.
The hotel is very clean and in a safe location. Jasmin on the front counter is GREAT very Friendly and Polite we got there a little early and she went to our rooms to check to see if they were clean so we could check in , she also helped us find great place for dinner. Rooms are spacious and beds were comfortable
Breakfast was probably the best hotel breakfast we ever had. The bed was super comfortable. Well-lit parking area. Friendly staff that was always helpful. For once, a hotel room with plenty of outlets for our phones, fans, etc. The whole hotel was spotless clean. We really didn't find anything we didn't like.
Room was clean and everything was good.
Before i stay here, i stayed one night in Quality Inn. It was really terrible. Not clean, staff was not friendly. Then i checked out and moved to Comfort Inn.
Comfort Inn in Slidell is much better.
The swimming pool is great. It may be the best hotel swimming pool I have experienced in many years. I have stayed in many hotels over the last 50 years. It was very clean and refreshing. The design is also very enjoyable.
we had not realized it was Mardi Gras weekend, and did not reserve ahead! Other hotels were sort of price gouging, rooms over $300+. We found a clean, happy, basic room at a reasonable price here.
This hotel was one of very few right now doing a full hot breakfast. It was good to have the option of waffles and biscuits and gravy, etc. The kitchen supervisor was very nice and friendly.
The pool was the main reason I booked this hotel for a weekend get away with family. Breakfast was OK but not the hours. It ended at 830 although the info in room said 900.
