The room was spacious and clean, the breakfast was delicious, the location near the hungarian borders and a parking area was also provided. The kind staff was the absolute highlight for us. They helped us to order something to eat, they were very friendly (our son loved them) and have us some croissants to go. Thanks for everything! Love from Greece

New hotel in Subotica. I liked the hospitality of the staff, especially Isabel. I was offered refreshments upon arrival late in the evening. The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean. Breakfast was great, great selection of local food. I will definitely come back here again.

It has great location. It is very close to the center. It takes 10 minutes at most to walk everywhere. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. And the hosts were very nice, friendly and helpful. There was a toll parking lot in front of the building but the price was very cheap. We paid 110 rsd for a day.

Very nice town, with a relaxed atmosphere.
Very nice town, with a relaxed atmosphere. Very friendly & helpful people.
Older style streets lined with trees which made for a very pleasant, cool environment even in 34C. Newer streets & areas complete opposite - we've lost the plot somewhere along the line.
Several places of interest & museums e.g. the China museum was interesting & the guide was very good. 160+ steps to the top of the tower giving great views of the city.
A little quirk is that if you don't buy your bus tickets at the bus station and need to catch the bus from the bus station, you have to pay a platform/entry fee to the station (Beograd is the same).

I recommend scheduling a tour of the Town Hall (and its observation deck) at 12:00 from Tuesday to Saturday.
The central square is more beautiful at night than during the day: buildings and fountains are very beautifully illuminated.

Subotica is a nice little town, clean, coquette and the main attractions are located close to each other, meaning that you can explore the town during a nice, peaceful walk admiring the architecture, the beautiful renovated art nouveau buildings. Also, the town has a lot of shade, a lot of big trees, making it really confortable during summer.

Subotica is really a nice town in Vojvodina, Serbia.
Subotica is really a nice town in Vojvodina, Serbia. Tourist information is really helpfull. In summer you can rent bikes. Lake Palic is a nice short trip from 30 minutes with bus 6 away from Subotica. Most people can speak beside Serbian and Hungarian also English which makes things easier to get around. Nice cute pedestrian area with nice cafe's and restaurants and beautyfull buildings in the center. I was there in summer once also now in wintertime during Christmas, very nice Christmas market in the center. Food is good too. Nowadays a little hard to reach as the Serbian and Hungarian railways are still busy fixing the railwayline, but if you manage to reach somehow Subotica or Szabadka in Hungarian, the town and surroundings are really worth it. Railway might work again next year. Well, who knows. I hope it.

Subotica was a delightful surprise.
Subotica was a delightful surprise.
The town has a relaxed atmosphere and a beautiful main square, as well as one of the most beautiful renovated synagogues in the world.
The art nouveau buildings are most lovely and one of them, Raichle Palace, now an excellent art gallery, backs onto a fine restaurant with a charming garden.
Locals are most friendly and helpful.

Subotica is a great place to visit for a weekend.
Subotica is a great place to visit for a weekend.
First day we walked around the city, enjoyed beautiful architecture, visited a museum and some parks.
On the second day we went to the lake Palic. It's a very nice place - big lake and big park around it. There's a good infrastructure there - cafes, bycicle rent. So we rent a bike and went around the lake and nearby.
Perfect weekend!
This is a small but very comfortable apartment. It is clean and cosy. The hostess is very kind and helpful. There is a free private parking. There is an elevator, which is a big help as the aparment is on the 3rd floor. There is a nice balcony to sit out. The mattress is hard, for me it was perfect (but if you like soft ones, it could be a problem). The price is more than friendly for what you get. We loved it and would definitely come back if in Subotica.
Great location for travelers looking for some rest before/after a long road. Located in the suburbs of Subotica. Free parking, relatively quiet area. Staff was kind, polite and helpful. The bedroom was big and clean. We had a nice view from our window/balcony (back of the hotel). It's the best hotel in the area.
If you travel there in the summer and have a room with a balcony make sure you close the doors to avoid insects coming in.
Perfect stay! This was a last minute booking due to a change of plans and we were first amazed how professional and forthcoming the host was. Then, the apartment itself was fully equipped and stocked with everything you need for a comfy stay, and the location is perfect both for seeing Subotica (a short walk to the center) and the surrounding area (easy access to main roads). If we are in the area again, we will definitely come again!
We love this apartment very much. It is very comfortable and the neighbouhood is very quiet. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. They helped us so much with advice and telling us places of interest. They are so kind. Also speak very good serbian hungarian and english The location is close to supermarkets and centre. We highly reccomend this apartment. Subotica is so beautiful with wonderful architecture.
This is one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in! The location is excellent (close to the center- 5 minutes walk - but very quiet) and the customer service attentive; but the hotel is literally filled from top to bottom with art! It felt like staying at a museum. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was very nice and they accommodated our vegan diet. I wish we could have stayed longer.
Thie hotel exceed my expectations. Brand new and sparkling clean, tastefully decorated and in a quiet neighborhood. There is a free parking around the building. The rooms are spacious and clean with great lighting. Beds are perfect for a good night sleep after a long day driving. We enjoyed fresh and tasty breakfast. The staff is kind and helpful. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone.
This house is in the best place of Subotica just a few steps from the main square, with parking. I booked it twice in a month and both times we had an unforgettable staying in that town. Very comfortable rooms with too many beds so everyone had his own space, and two bathrooms. The host was very helpful and the price was good too. Absolutely recommended.
We stayed for 1 day in Marta's apartment and it met our expectations every step of the way. It's a nice, cozy flat near Subotica center and it gives a great value for money. The hosts (Marta and Mladen) were welcoming and helpful. I recommend this place for future guests - it's ideal for a couple that wants to check out this art nouveau city!
Located 15-20 minute walk from downtown Subotica. Literally attached to the bus station, so quite convenient when arriving and leaving the city, yet somehow is remarkably quiet at all times. I've never been in a cleaner hostel in my life. The brothers who run the place are incredibly hospitable and a pleasure to interact with.
Great location with great secured parking. Very close to the center of Subotica. Fully equipped kitchenette with grocery store on the first floor of the building. Owners / Hosts extended every curtesy and tended to all our needs immediately.
Our one and only place to stay in Subotica going forward.
The apartment is very clean,, comfortable, well kept and the facilities are above all expectations. All compliments to the hosts. It also has a nice location and a cosy balcony. It was a very pleasant stay in Subotica.
Great spot to stay for a short holiday or longer visits to Subotica, everything needed is there. Amazing location: quiet but close to city Center. The host is very welcoming and always ready to help.
perfect location near bus and railway station Subotica. There is big supermarket and bread shop near apartment. Very clean. Very good internet. Very friendly owner. Thank you
Everything was great, appartement is clean and beautiful, it is located on the heart of the city. Host Boris is nice and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay in Subotica!
The apartment is just like on pictures - modern, clean and comfortable. The bed and the pillows are comfortable comparing to other similarly priced places in Subotica.
You just cannot find better place in Subotica. Everything was great: the space, equipment, cleanliness and the hospitality of the host. I will surely come again.
New hotel in Subotica, with private parking across the street. Just about everything is perfect here, beautiful room, nice bathroom, excellent breakfast
