The staff were extremely helpful, giving us a room between reception and the restaurant so my husband,who has mobility problems, didn't have too far to walk. Bar and restaurant staff friendly and happy. Location was beautiful.

Very pleasant, largely pedestrianized, centre which is easy to get around on foot. Good shopping. Plenty of places to eat and drink. Some excellent museums. At least a couple of first-class hotels. No great sights, but a very relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

This was just a stopover trip before going further south to Almeria region. Went to the local shops which were only a short journey away. We found all we need at the shops, food, supermarket, other shops.

Albacete is a very modern university city. It is very vibrant and facilities are varied from McDonalds to restaurants. Abundant shops and modern stores for browsing. Night life was "interesting" being New Years Eve ...... !
