Very quiet room with large floor-to-ceiling windows. The two of us had a room for 4 people, so there was more than enough space.
And it's true, when you see the queue for the bus to Machu Picchu at the breakfast table, it's time to get up and join the queue ;)

Machu pichu is quite spectacular and set in an equally spectacular natural setting.
However the queues for the train, the bus going up, the entry, the toilets, the cafe, and the 800 metre queue for the bus back, together with the precipitous stairs and the congested trails through the site, greatly diminished the enjoyment of the experience . Waiting times amounted to several hours, often in the sun. And this was with pre-purchased tickets.
Weigh up a visit carefully. We enjoyed our stay at Ollantaytambo much more - a nice little rural town with fabulous archeology and Peruvian culture

It was a childhood dream for me. I had a foggy day when was my ticket. It was a mystery. Maybe it'll be better if it was sunny. The prise was very high, but when you have a dream, you should do it.

Machu Picchu was completely abandoned for nearly 400 years.
Machu Picchu was completely abandoned for nearly 400 years. There are no know written records of who built it, what it was used for or the part it played in Inca history. The guides are totally speculative. They have good stories..... but completely from their imagination. Do your homework and prepare for the visit.
This is a really nice hotel. The facilities are very suave, and the rooms are comfortable and well decorated. The bathroom in our room had a Rain Shower and a large modern Soakworthy bathtub with lots of hot water. That might be just what you need after a lot of exercise on the mountainside.
The staff was super-friendly and they have a great system for checking luggage if you need to check out in the AM to go to Macchu Picchu. They gave numbered tags and held the bags in a secure storage area.
The location is very near the train station.
Found this hotel while planning a trip to Machu Picchu for my boyfriend's birthday, and it was magical! Not too far off the main square in Aguas Calientes, and it felt like we were the only people there. We booked the room all the way at the top with the balcony, which was a litte extra, and worth every penny. We were very pleased with the stay. The staff was responsive and helpful, and breakfast in the morning was great. It was exactly what we needed for an intimate getaway spot, and I would return without hesitation.
- Bigest room we had in all Peru, with an amazing view on the mountains
- 3 minutes away from the bus stop to Machu Picchu, 1 from the train station, 1 from the market et 3 from all the restaurants
- Very clean with comfortable beds
- People were amazing to help us. They keep our backpack while we were at the Machu Picchu and they prepared us a breakfast to go before the opening hour.
- A special thanks to John and Alberto, the managers of the hotel who were very kind to guide us.
Nice quiet hotel. The breakfast was decent and simple, but we appreciated that they prepared it for us even at 5:30 in the morning and gave us cereal bars for the trip to Machu Picchu (we went by foot). Great attention. The rooms were bright, clean, nice bathroom, running hot water and hair dryer. There was also heating in the room, which we appreciated, because it was cold and humid outside and it was the only hotel in Peru that had direct heating.
Hotel staff came to greet us to take us to hotel. It was Lucio he was courteous, prompt. He Carrie’s our bags up the hill of Aguas Calientes. I was very impressed particularly with Lucio. He also was on the breakfast room. He took care of all of our requests. Lucio thank you you made our stay even happier. We highly recommend this hotel! Clean, delicious breakfast made to order great location. ATM next door and shopping
Everything was perfect. The room was clean and with a nice design. I was a bit worried because of noise that you can usually hear in a hostel, but it was all quiet during the night and we slept very well. The hotel gives also the possibility to have the breakfast starting 4:30 AM (which is perfect for those visiting Machu Picchu early in the morning.)
Olga at the front desk was amazing! Best service. She was very helpful, thoughtful, and kind. 10/10 recommend for a short stay over while in Machupicchu. As a solo traveler, I really enjoyed my stay and out of all of the places I stayed in while on my trip in Peru from Lux hotels to Inns, the client service here was the BEST!
What a great hotel! The owner really made my trip to Macchu Pichu possible. She took me in hand to get a ticket that I had thought wouldn't be available.
My room had a sweet view of the roaring River below and the incredible mountain above.
And Aguas Calientes is a delightful town.
The view of the surrounding mountains was really amazing. The breakfast option was great and they even made us lunch packages for our hike to Machu Picchu. There was also no problem extending our stay for one night. I can definitely recommend to stay at the Eco Art Hotel!
The people were nice and prepared us a breakfast bag for our early departure to Machu Picchu. The hotel room was generally good. It was a pity that we arrived late and left early and didn't have the chance to enjoy the view outside the window.
Great location. Close to the train station and the Machu Picchu bus stop … and restaurants. Modern style room, with king size bed. Buffet breakfast great way to start the day. Hotel will hold your luggage during your visits to Machu Picchu
Best shower ever after our trek. Lovely staff, complimentary food and drinks, they brought our luggage down and stored our stuff until afer Machu Picchu. Honestly such a relief after 4 days of trekking to be welcomed into this hotel.
Amazing little centrally located hotel with private rooms. Has everything you need for a comfortable one night stay before or after seeing Machu Picchu. Extremely good price and perfect for an unfussy, solo traveler.
It was quiet and cozy - we guess compared to the other hotels closer to the center / train station / etc. it is great to get good rest before or after Machu Picchu! Also it was clean and comfortable for 1-2 nights!
The room is very spacious and the beds comfortable. The staff were nice and helpful.
The bath in the room was great.
There is an option to leave the bags in the hotel when going to the Machupicchu.
The location was in a small street adjacent to the line for the Machu Picchu bus. The hotel arranges for someone from the to meet me at the train station. They provided an excellent packed lunch.
The hotel looks beautiful, the rooms are clean and large. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is ok just make sure you request your eggs.
Location was great, on the river and near to everything. The hotel contacted us to help us from the train but it wasn't far and we were traveling light.
