Liepaja is a "hidden gem" of Latvia! It has a wonderful, relaxed vibe. Food everywhere was delicious and fresh. The people seemed much friendlier than Riga. The beach is absolutely gorgeous and a perfect spot to spend a few days. There are also plenty of nature excursions to do in the area.VickieLatvia - 10Scored 10

My favourite places: market, beach, before beach is excellent walking parks, good restaurants and a lot more things to do. We didn't enjoy the roadworks. A lot roads are closed, a lot traffic jams. We recommend to visit Liepaja City!!!

I liked the free spirit of the inhabitants which contributed essentially to the development of the city today. I love the warmth in the eyes of the people I've interacted with and those I've met on the street and crossed our eyes. I like the mix of cultures living together. I love the contrast between old and new that can be seen in the constructions. The quiet nice city seems like time is stopped here. All large sports buildings are on the beach. At the same time parking on narrow streets. Seems like the city government planning all-new sports facilities for the beach but parking is not solved. Poor local people who are living there.... It is crowdy and all the narrow streets are fully parked. To go to the beach you need to go early morning or a few kilometers away. No parking slots or buildings in this city.SvetlanaEstonia

In the apartment you can find almost everything you need plus some extras which you dont need yo take from home. There is very long but but narrow balcony where you can spend your evenimg with glass of wine. Neighbourhood really calm. Parking available in front of the building. Host take care a lot to have good connection before travel and during check-in and out. I highly recomend this appartment for stay in Liepaja.

It’s around a five minute walk to the centre and fifteen minutes to the seaside park and beach. It was very comfortable and cosy and very quiet at night. I felt safe in the area. Coffee and tea non stop available. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast (pre ordered from menu). 15-20 minute walk to the blue flag beach. Rooms sufficient and I even had a balcony. You can park your car for free in the street of the hotel (enough space). Restaurant (with in- and outside seating) downstairs is worth a visit as well.
