Personnel was very nice, helpful and welcoming. Nice breakfast, as it was low season, we were asked to preorder breakfast last night. There was sufficient selection of dishes. Could be added an option to get some vegetable milk to coffee.

The property is absolutely spacious. Worth taking when going in a larger group and each of you wants to have an extra room, there are not so many options around Peipsi järv. Possible to cook and and a great bbq area - unfortunately at the time we travelled it was still way too cold for that.
Just in 5min walking distance from the main beach located...
Just in 5min walking distance from the main beach located good small open air fish restaurant. Supermarket located in 15min walking distance. Very beautiful nature around. In village located: small open air market in front of "A ja O" shop, fish shop, 2 supermarkets, doctors, pharmacy, small cafes. Very nice village with interesting and very different old and mdern buildings. Not many such interesting ancient small cities possible to find today in Europe. Just walk and enjoy !

Quiet village-town on the shore of Peipus (Peipsi) lake.
Quiet village-town on the shore of Peipus (Peipsi) lake. Have seen MUCH better times for sure. The streets are still there, the beach is, the church has been renovated, and the only shop still operates every day until 20:00. Very unusual "redstone" (red sandstone) cliffs with a walking trail along the shore. And quietness everywhere, which is a plus - if you are into that kind of thing. If you lake warm waters of the lake (at the summer!), cozy beach surrounded by sandstone walls, and a countryside around - with a bit of modernity (even an ATM and a pharmacy), and legacy - then Kallaste is your choice.
