Everything about the property and hosts was excellent; great location with nice view from balcony; easy walking distance to restaurants and amenities. Although there was a short walk to the public car park, it was easy to load and unload from the loading bay (however there was a scaffolding can and council van using the two bays when we left).
Located in Looe, The Harbour Moon has a garden, terrace and bar. Guests can sample Grill/bbq at the on-site restaurant. Plymouth is 23 km from the inn. Newquay Cornwall Airport is 40 km away.

Looe is the sort of place you would go to get away from the everyday of city life I moved from Devon to Bristol a few years ago and wanted somewhere quiet and this was absolutely it, it felt like another world! Despite the rain we went on loads of walks perfect for the dog there is a lot of hidden gems and loads of history to be found. Personally it was perfect for two of us plus a Labrador, maybe less so for children unless you’re willing to travel further afield for day trips! Definitely recommend Kelly’s fish and chips.

Beautiful Looe!
Beautiful Looe! Weather was wild and a challenge with big gusts of wind and heavy rain. Restaurants closed relatively early especially when travelled from far and arriving later than 8pm. Locals very friendly. Bit disappointed with the quality of fish food in 2 restaurants.

It has lovely shops and many places to eat, a lovely place to visit.
But can be very busy so plan ahead for food and parking, like booking up if want to go to a particular restaurant! Please make sure you book even before arriving if going in a busy time of year, parking just go straight to main large car park as will waste time trying to get into small ones by harbour unless mid winter as very busy.

Looe is a great place with plenty of pubs, restaurants and essential shops. It felt a safe place to walk around in at night, and we encountered no large groups of stag parties etc such as would be found in Newquay. Parking is a bit of a pain and expensive, so we left the car parked up most of the time and used the local train and bus services which are quite frequent and convenient. There are plenty of walks both country and seashore. Large supermarkets are in Liskeard about 20 minutes drive away, but smaller stores such as the Co-op are in Looe. Recommended.

Looe is a beautiful port with plenty of public parking, accommodation and food stops. Sea Kitchen and The Old Sail Loft are two superb restaurants. Just along the coast is Polperro which is an unspoilt harbour and a must see!
From the moment we arrived to when we left, we had a wonderful time. Such a beautiful place and what views! A modern place and yet with an eye to detail for the traditional. We were told in advance that a cooked breakfast wouldn't be available due to staff shortages, but the hotel certainly maid up for it. Croissants, porridge, Canadian pancakes with fruit and honey, yoghurt and homemade Bircher müsli (non-dairy option too) with various fresh fruits. I'll definitely be back
Greeted by the most friendly and helpful staff. The hotel was up a steep incline but this was compensated for by the most magnificent view over the Looe estuary. The staff were most helpful and nothing I requested was was too much trouble. The breakfast defied belief. Once again could not ask for the wrong thing and everything was delicious. Would fully recommend Silver Birch to anyone.
We loved the apartment. It was spacious, comfortable and clean. The owners Roger and Catherine left us a good welcome pack. It was lovely to come back to after long days out. The neighbourhood is quiet and it's not too far to walk to the town of Looe and the beaches (that's if you're prepared for an uphill walk back).
The views of the sea and coastline were spectular!
Whileaway cottage was a luxurious base for a stay exploring cornwall. The house is decorated with the utmost attention to detail, the sofa is extremely comfy and the perfect spot to watch the sunset! (Amazing views across the hillsides). The owners are lovely and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. 10/10 would recommend!
It has been a long time since I enjoyed such a delicious breakfast. The care and attention shown by the host and hostess towards making my stay a truly memorable experience, was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. It was a home from home for 4 nights and if I go back to Looe I will definitely stay there again. Thank you 😊
The Caravan was compact but it had everything we needed. We were advised before hand of what was included and what we needed to bring, so everything worked out good. We were only in the caravan at night as we were driving around most of the day, and it was a great base to visit Cornwall.
What a gem of a find beautiful location and views wowowow , Very quiet neighbourhood 10/10 in everything, the bits and bobs in food very much appreciated, Thank you for sharing your bit of Cornwall, the best fish and chips takeaway Bens plaice takeaway ever, fantastic coastal walks
Beautifully maintained, spacious and historical farm house, formerly of the Dutchy of Cornwall and thoughtful transformed into a 5 roomed well appointed Hotel/B&B overlooking Looe Island and the spectacular bay that has delighted so many holiday makers for many decades.
Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Complimentary scones with clotted cream and jam was a nice touch. Very nice room with a good size balcony overlooking Looe Beach. Staff very friendly. Car parking on site but needs to be pre-booked.
Beautiful hotel, with great location. Everyone waa friendly and very helpful when I needed advise or help. The view from my room made my holiday, the ultimate break and even more while eating my breakfast over looking thr Bay of Looe.
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Rivercroft - the owners were super helpful and very friendly. Food in the evening was of a high standard as was breakfast. Would throughly recommend to anyone visiting Looe or Cornwall as a whole.
The room was pleasant, with good sea views, and had that most valuable thing in Cornwall; a parking space. The breakfast was very good. Owner Tracy is genial and helpful.
