Never knew how much there is to do here! We had a lovely walk into town and popped into a few of the older pubs (highly recommend Minerva, Ye Olde Black Boy and Fretwells). Was much busier than expected on Saturday afternoon! Then visited the museum quarter the next day and loved it. Will be returning to do some of the trails! Locals friendly, especially en route to and at the football ground. Only thing that could have made it better was if Hull had let us have all 3 points!

Marina area & museums excellent.
Marina area & museums excellent. Old town quite tatty & not much to see. Recommend Hull as a base with 1 day to walk around + 1 museum + 1 more for the Deep & another museum. Highly recommend beautiful Beverley for a visit

I used to study there sometime in the last century.
I used to study there sometime in the last century. It is a quirky and interesting city, not beautiful like Edinburgh or Venice but that doesn't mean there isn't a lot of beauty to be found if you take a close look.
Hull gets slagged off by people who have never been there, which is very unfair. It has a lot of history and nice architecture. And compared to most other major cities it's cheap as chips (and the chips are very good!)
Arrive there via the magnificent Humber Bridge. Visit the Ferens Art Gallery. Take in a show at Hull Truck, The New Theatre or the World Class Don Roy Theatre at the university campus. And enjoy the revitalised harbour and Old Town

Currently there are road works near the hotel .
Currently there are road works near the hotel . That and poor sat nav directions made negotiating the roads entering the outskirts of the city difficult. I know Hull is a great city to visit once there.
I would avoid sat nav and head for the signs for the Humber Bridge before turning onto the Beverley road to find the hotel.
These apartments exceeded our expectations, for such a low price we didn't expect too much but they were really lovely, they were clean and smelt fresh and every member of staff we came across was super helpful and kind. It's the most at home i think i've ever felt in a hotel. The location was great for the city centre of Hull, and free parking was an added bonus. We will 100% return and recommend to our friends.
This is a nice little hotel which is about 20 minutes by public transport from the centre. We were heading to the Bonus Arena for a gig, I'd recommend prearranging a taxi or using the bus stop across the road (ensure you work this out and give yourself plenty of time), this is no fault of the hotel just advice. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were around what you'd expect for the price.
Brilliant location and great staff. Everyone had a smile on their face and had a chat with you. 5 minute walk from train station and 10 minutes from hull city centre and the Humber. Room was a good size and was clean. Breakfast was included and was standard hotel breakfast.ideal hotel for exploring the coast and local area
Ease of access to/from city centre. Just off the main Hull to Beverley road, but far enough off to still be quiet. Adjacent to Pearson Park. Friendly & courteous staff. Very good wifi, even at the rear of the hotel (room 16). Desk in room was big enough to spread out my laptop etc & do some work in comfort.
Beautiful room, lots of space, good bathroom, all very clean. Great breakfast, lovely staff, fantastic building. Location excellent for Hull city centre, beautiful gardens in front of the hotel with great trees- all we could hear was birdsong, which is pretty special in a big city centre.
Great location close to all the Hull City Centre hotels and other tourist attractions. Great view out the back of the house over a pleasure boat sailing dry dock. The children loved the internal balcony. Had own driveway.
Great Location for walking into Hull Centre, great location to get there and to leave by the main roads. Price excellent, and staff are really great. It's more like chalets, which we definitely prefer over hotel hutches.
It's a good, cheap, clean hotel close to the city centre. They have shared kitchen facilities so you can cook and free parking. Amy the manager was quite happy to do a deal for a long term stay.
Great location near to both marina and city centre with shops/pubs/restaurants. Free parking space. Fairly quiet. Nicely decorated and furnished. Would stay here again.
