The hotel was tired and in need of a good update, room wasn't what I'd expect when paying this kind of money, very basic and in need of a refresh, furniture was basic and knocked around, so generally not to a good standard. Breakfast had good choice and was good quality!

Well appointed spacious and characterful room. Very comfy bed, huge TV, luxurious bath. Heavenly cocktail bar downstairs! Breakfast simple but plentiful, and hosts were obliging about dietary needs. Staff were kind and appropriately friendly, very helpful. Had a couple of very enjoyable chatty and entertaining evenings with Max and Nia in the bar.

Beautiful, well appointed apartment. Located across the road from the castle which was the focus of our stay. Daniel, the owner is extremely helpful and quickly ironed out the glitch in our stay - namely the people staying in the additional apartment had taken both sets of keys, despite very clear instructions to leave the other set in the key safe.
