Nice room and breakfast. Dinner being a Sunday was restricted to 6:00pm but that worked well for our stay eating at 5:30pm. Would stay again.

It was just a lovely stay , you need a car to travel about and explore beautiful towns near to congleton . I enjoyed holmes chapel which wasn’t far. The food in the Swettenham arms was very nice . Also the. Red lion too if you want basic meals. I’m sure there are lovely walks but didn’t get that far as it was much too cold went I went . You need to be a countryside fan to enjoy the loft and surrounding areas

We stayed overnight for a wedding.
We stayed overnight for a wedding. I personally found the bed too hard and the room was old fashioned and shabby. The breakfast was very good but I object to having to order it the night before as on the day I wasn't very hungry so had to cancel that order.

A very nice place to be, with good facilities close to the Hotel where we were staying.
The breakfast in the hotel was good with a large selection of various items.
We may well return to this hotel as both the setting and the staff were excellent.

Never thought to visit the area, but I am glad that I did, its life at a slower pace and a chance to get back to nature, each village has its own unique character and charm. Every pub seemed to serve really great food and people actually smiled and were pleasant and chatty.
Some of the churches are good examples of what seems to be a slowly disappearing england, plenty of history and the locals enjoy telling their areas claim to fame.

In truth I did not see much of Congleton as a town as I was there for a walking trip but it is equipped with bus and train links to local and national locations. It is an extremely scenic area surrounded by hill, canals, rivers and small villages with great places to eat and drink.
Friendly staff, beautiful hotel, clean, the rooms are very nice, lovely breakfast, just an all round wonderful stay. I have stayed here a few times now after staying at other hotels in the area and this is by far the nicest place I have stayed.
Very quiet and welcoming, ideal place for someone travelling alone as you are made to feel welcome and at ease by the staff. Would highly recommend anyone to stay here.
Excellent accommodation and suited us perfectly as we were attending a wedding and our other friends were able to stay in the cottage next door, making taxi's/travel to the wedding really easy! The cottage is kitted out with everything you need in terms of crockery, cups, glasses, bedding and towels - and the patio area with folding doors was amazing to have.. making the space seem a lot bigger.
Firstly - it was a great stay, with just what I needed after a week of city hotels: peaceful, comfortable, own kitchen. There is a great shower, excellent hosting, nice tv (although I couldn’t log into my Netflix) and a very nice atmosphere to stay in.
A nice alternative to my usual UK stay in Manchester centre.
The location wasn't far away from Jodrell Bank which is one of the main attractions in the area. The breakfast was lovely and the room was fantastic. Just the right amount of space for 2 adults and a teenager. The town of Congleton was a short drive and we had a good walk around the area.
We were in the area to attend a wedding only a few miles down the road. We were very happy with the room facilities. Breakfast was a friendly affair with the other guests. Would definitely stay there again and was very good value for money
We thought the property was very homely and exceptionally clean. The dedicated parking spot was very welcome and close by.We would certainly recommend the property and its good location for exploring Congleton.
Lovely pub/hotel with car park at rear. Great choice of beer, comfortable and clean bedroom/bathroom. Great breakfast, friendly staff and value for money. Used for a wedding in nearby Congleton.
Very friendly owner, lovely vegetarian breakfast, would happily stay there again if in Congleton. Very nice hot shower to wake up to! :-) perfect for an overnight stay.
