Bedroom facilities good. Hotel location good if you have transport. Breakfast choice good but didn't receive what I ordered.

checking process, was charged three parking's by mistake of the person trying to help me check-in as when I arrived there was no staff there and I was alone to try figure it out myself, also ordered room service and the web page said failed after two orders but charged my card each time so ended up paying 3 times for food but was issued refund at the bar but I had to go down and sort this out myself, also needed the physical card i used to get the refund which was annoying as nowadays everything is done virtually. Felt like a scam to be honest

We visit Bury regularly to see relatives.
We visit Bury regularly to see relatives. The surrounding area and parks are very good, scenery quite dramatic - bleak in places. A lot of history from the industrial revolution and textile mills. Enjoyed visiting the station and seeing the vintage trains, still being used. Disappointed that Bury market is only open a few days each week, we could not go in the indoor market & shopping areas with the dog.

Bury is pleasant, there is enough to do, restaurants and pubs, walking and some shopping. We were there for work so we did not have much time to look around and the weather was awful so no chance of walking far either.

Bury Town Centre has plenty of good shops and the famous Bury Market is worth a visit.
Ramsbottom is a pretty village ( not far from the Eagle and Child) and venture out a little bit to Whitefield for good restaurants.

I go to Bury for the East Lancashire Railway and usually go for the Summer Diesel Gala. Some interesting place and a good variety of pubs, bars and restaurants to suit all tastes. There is also the market and museums.
Great little place , only needed it to stay a couple nights so I can visit the bury arcade club which is the biggest arcade in through whole UK and it’s 5 minutes away from here. Polite hosts, they are quiet and it feels nice here . Bed is very comfortable and the room is warm with a radiator is you need it. Just call the host on his phone if he doesn’t answer the front door. There is a kitchen with a microwave to use as well
The room was bigger than we expected and very clean the view was nice. the restaurant was nice. staff were very helpful before we even arrived at Hotel. The basket of breakfast was a little bonus, and the later checkout was good. This was value for money and we would book again if we were to go back to Bury.
The rooms themselves were really good.
Bathroom was big and well maintained.
Bed was fine as were coffee / tea making facilities
Location was really good too.
Staff were also really friendly - so a good hotel all round really.
The rooms were modern. We were in the top room like a attic room. I kept banging my head on ceiling as it sloped down above bed. However it was fine for a overnight stay. Good location for bury town centre.
Good location near the town centre. Was visiting the East Lancashire Railway. Large room and bed. Very clean and in good order. Best hotel room we've stayed in.
