We were both pleasantly surprised at the lay out of the room. Beautiful spotless bathroom and walk in shower plus a sitting area and a lovely wee breakfast and bought some goodies from the shop..

Quite certainly the best B&B we've ever stayed in! Everything was PERFECT : John and David were wonderful hosts from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. The house is beautiful and so clean, the decoration and equipment are wonderful and the full Scottish breakfast was excellent! Wish we could have stayed longer!! Even a lovely cake on arrival - they really look after their guests!

We loved the easy access to our room with 3 dogs and a massive walk in shower gave us that extra space. We loved the clean towels and also how special you made it for our dogs, extra doggie towels and blankets and chewies for all 3 :)))
We loved tea and coffee, chocs and biscuits and shampoos etc
We loved the restaurant options and easy access for the dogs plus being able to sit outside and enjoy beachfront views or inside sea views - awesome!!
Extra special to take the dogs out for beach walks although sad about one of the Canadian geese, and too many dead seagulls on the shore but overall beautiful seaside adventure. We travelled down as far as Saddler and got to tour with best mate Jane.
Enjoy the peace, quiet, clean natural lifestyle while you can and it becomes another tourist overcrowded beach.

Bellochantuy is a really small village, you almost have to have a car if you want to venture around. It is conveniently placed to explore the Kintyre peninsula, but not for someone who is looking for pubs and exploring different restaurants every night.
Small intimate hotel extremely well refurbished.Location backs onto a long sandy beach.Views from our room we're superb. The extension built onto the back of the hotel is the restaurant and every table has fantastic views of the Atlantic, Islay, Jura and Gigha.Sunsets were amazing. The menu and quality of the food on offer was terrific and at a very reasonable price. 😋. Will plan to revisit later this year.

The Argyll Hotel is located right beside the beach and has stunning views from the conservatory restaurant/patio.
Ian and Nick and their staff are warm welcoming but still professional. Really enjoyed dinner and my full cooked breakfast. I’ve never had a savoury crème brûlée before but LOVED the blue cheese crème brûlée starter.
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay….just wish I could have stayed longer but will definately return.
Our stay here was fantastic! We had a spotlessly clean room overlooking the beach and the sea and it was close to golf at Machrihanish Golf Club, where we were playing. Ian and Nick were amazing hosts and had a wonderful restaurant and bar with delicious food and drinks. They went out if their way to feed us later in the evening after our golf round and treated us like we were one of the family. We highly recommend.
This hotel was located on the coast with a million dollar view! The restaurant had delicious food and we enjoyed walking on the beach when it wasn't raining. Our room was very modern and comfortable. There was also a sitting room and plenty of places to be social if that is what you like. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling through or just wanting to get away for the weekend.
Comfortable room with huge wet room bathroom. The food was really wonderful. We had dinner in the restaurant and a great cooked breakfast in the morning. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Wonderful location overlooking the bay at the back of the hotel where the restaurant is.
Location was very good, peaceful and relaxing.
Manager and staff are very welcoming. Relaxing on the rear terrace overlooking the beach and sea on a warm evening watching the sun go down is great.
Food is very good. Never slept in such a wide double bed. Would we stay again....yes.
Beach front location. Argyll Hotel right beside the small caravan site. The hotel has a bar and does amazing food. The beach is very quiet and clean golden sands. Roads are quiet and the Kintyre Peninsula is feels very secluded and not touristy. Dog friendly caravan and hotel.
Friendly welcome from nick and Ian who could not do enough for you, attentive staff, beautiful location, views stunning, clean lovely decorated room, evening meal and breakfast delicious. Overall great hotel and will return soon.
An amazing hotel in a beautiful location. The owners couldn't do enough to make our visit perfect. The food was outstanding and it was lovely to have such a great variety of vegan food to choose from on the menu.
It’s a small hotel on a beautiful beach, Nick and Ian were so informative and helpful. Highly recommend to anyone looking to spend some time in Argyll, can’t wait to visit again.
We had a very warm welcome at this remote hotel. Everybody was very nice and we had a great evening with drinks on the terrace and a lovely dinner in their very good restaurant.
Beautiful location on a sandy beach with views across to Islay. Owner and staff could not have been more helpful and the service and food was excellent. Wonderful stay.
Lovely hotel and the owners Ian and Nick were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is right on the beach with stunning views from the restaurant area.
