Very friendly staff who took well care of us. I would like to mention especially Dilwer who was enthusiastic to feed us each of Chef Bobby’s specialties. Thanks to him we tasted the best Dal Pakwaan ever. And of course Sheetal who took care of little details quickly noticing what is missing or needed.

This is a modern hotel, but built in a very attractive heritage style. The staff add thoughtful touches in the rooms, like local sweets and wax-embossed welcome notes. Since we traveled in the off season, the hotel was excellent value considering its high quality. At the evening musical performance we expected the traditional performance we had heard a number of times in Rajasthan and elsewhere, but this one had unique instruments local to the desert landscape. I especially enjoyed morning yoga with the surrounding birdsong. Breakfast was fantastic with a flautist in the balcony.

This boutique hotel was a wonderful surprise. The location could not be better in the heart of the old Jaisalmer Fort. We paid extra for a room with private pillow-filled balcony overlooking the fort walls that was magical. Excellent breakfast served on the roof. Note that given location, hotel can only be served by rickshaw, not car.

A nice and relaxing traditional semi-desert town with the friendliest people (and cows) you can meet. You can just wander around and enjoy. Nobody would harass you, just friendly people greeting you, young and old, and friendly cows, of course.
You can visit the town's attractions or simply sit and enjoy observing the vibrant local life.

The Jaisalmer fort is located on top of a rock.
The Jaisalmer fort is located on top of a rock. Inside the fort there is old town. There are private houses inside the fort. Walking around the small small lanes is very interesting. But be very careful about the local people. They will try to cheat you somehow or the other. Even if you take a guide, the guide will make you pay double the money because they get commission whatever you spend during your visit.
I have seen people sitting next to me in a terrace, paying INR 500 for two coffees and I paid the same coffees INR 140. Because their guide told the waiter to take INR 500 from them. It was so sad… people of Rajastan specially guides and drivers and shop owners are looting foreigners.

Jaisalmer was definitely more touristy, then the other cities we had visited before. In a way, this made our short stay there more comfortable. People on the street were friendly and greeted us, without trying to sell us anything.

A very good combination of History, Culture, Gastronomic delights and contemporary sightseeing. I recommend the Jaisalmer Fort Or the Golden Fort (has historical artefacts), the War Museum, Gadisar Lake and the surroundings, Folklore Museum and Desert Cultural Centre (set up Shri Nand Kishore Sharma, 94 years old, in1983. The Desert Cultural Centre also hosts a puppet show (two showings a day) in the evening.

Everything was perfect. Our room got upgraded to the suite (beautiful rooms) and the staff including Sahil, Papu & Mehrab was sweet, helpful and did everything to make our stay & tours comfortable.
Sahil (the hotel owner) arranged desert tours and camel rides which was authentic and a great experience. We also tried to cook fresh local mutton with Sahil & Mehrab on the rooftop with open fire and it tasted amazing.
I can fully recommend this place and I will visit this place again next time I am in Jaisalmer.
The hotel is in a quiet lane around 5 to 7 minutes walking distance (Around 2 minutes drive) from main market Area. The room size and bathroom size is big. The bed is very comfortable. The hotel has a decent size pool, though we did not use it as it was very cold weather. The hotel is a like a palace turned in to a hotel (like many hotels in Rajasthan). Location wise, this is the best place to stay in Jaisalmer for those who are looking at staying in a luxury hotel without paying exorbitant charges.
Mr Raj and Bimal were extremely warm in making us feel welcomed. Kept us well informed of just the right details we needed in Jaisalmer.
The rooms are better than what the images portray.
The view from the fort/hotel window is gorgeous.
The common area on the terrace is stunning at all times of the day!
The hotel is located at a 5 minute walk from the last point at which vehicles are allowed.
Thoroughly enjoyed our experience at the hotel and I would surely recommend Hotel Saffron.
The owner, Mr Singh, was an excellent host and he was quick and responsive to our requests. He arranged for us to be collected and delivered back to the airport, a very good guide for the day and a most enjoyable trip into the desert for a camel ride and dinner under the stars. The room was excellent with the best view in Jaisalmer of the Fort from our bedroom window. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to fellow travellers, we felt so welcome
Very nice place to visit, they have clean rooms with palace kind of architecture which gives you royal experience at very competitive rent. The view from this room is awesome, I did whole night photography from terrace of this hotel. I will strongly suggest to visit this hotel for your Jaisalmer trip. The restaurant roof top view of whole city is great.. Staff was gentle and cooperative.. Service and food was excellent...
Owner was familiar and helpful..
I am so happy that I have decided to spend my 2 days holiday in jaisalmer with Murad haveli hotel. The staff is so caring and friendly. They will do whatever u ask for. In 2 days I have never heard no from them. The beautiful place to stay the royal rooms and food is the cherry on the cake. My little had so much fun... Highly recommended place... I would like to thank Mr Hasim for the beautiful stay and with all the important .....
God bless u all....
If you are looking for a good hotel, with awesome ambience, good food and well behaved hotel staff, then Heritage house in Jaisalmer is the place for you, here you will get awesome atmosphere, well decorated rooms with Rajasthani feelings, all the staffs here are very disciplined, they are always ready to make you feel special, during our stay, we also experienced the same , with a special mention of one of their staff named Daud Khan.
We stayed Royal heritage Jaisalmer in Super Delux room. It was a great specious room with all the amentieis. Couple of things which stand out for us is that the staff is really friendly. They made us feel homely. If you have any special request or requirements they will try to fulfil that. Also, they have Rooftop restaurant, the food was really tasty and it was freshly cooked.
I definitely recommend staying at this hotel.
Rooms are neat and clean even the interior looks pretty. Hotel is very well decorated as well as the location is central. The owner is humble and generous. The staff is attentive and respectful. Our trip to Jaisalmer felt safe and became memorable because of the hotel. Their packages for desert camps are considerably fair with excellent service. Their behaviour made us feel they are our family relatives and not strangers.
The food here is just amazing they serve it hot with rooftop view.
The rooms here are comfortable and the cleanliness is also maintained.
I would surely advice to choose The hotel grand heritage, Jaisalmer if you are planning to come here.
The staff is friendly and helpful also
Extremely warm behaviour and hospitality was excellent.
The owner of the hotel was excellent and all the support staff were courteous.
They customised our dinner and prepared home style delicacy.
I would recommend everyone to enjoy the view of Jaisalmer fort from the terrace.
Hotel twilight jaisalmer is good choice for stay in jaisalmer.
Everything was good for me. Best thing was jeep safari and camel safari.. we book desert trip by hotel.. very luxury camping with pure rajasthani food, we enjoyed folk dance and music programs.

Nicely decorated hotel with very warm and hospitable team. The terrace was cozy with superb view of Fort and decor of the place was very stylish. Hotel also offers camel safari tours. Recommended to all visitors visiting Jaisalmer.
The hotel has a nice roof top with view on the Jaisalmer Fort, where breakfast, lunch and dinner can be served. The surroundings are quiet. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and tidy.
It's clean and works for a decent one night stay. Nothing beyond that. Its more like a business hotel and didn't have any Jaisalmer feel to it. Very plain and nothing interesting.
Shahi Palace Hotel - Jaisalmer is simply amazing. I got the best view of Jaisalmer Fort from this hotel. I have fallen in love with Shahi Palace Hotel.
