This hotel was great. Really affordable, great big room and the team was super helpful. The free bicycles were a great help and it was fantastic to ride around the area on the bicycle. For trips further afield I was able to rent a scooter and that was arranged through the hotel and was affordable too.

Really great location, just by the beach, and within walking distance you can reach other bars and restaurants by the beach, yet it was not crowded, which was great (but I visited in April). And no cockroaches appeared in the room, big plus.

The hotel is in a terrible shape and the.service is even worse. The photos are misleading. Dirty cups and kettle left outside the room by the previous guest was not picked up until many hours after we checked in. The bed linen were dirty and we had to make multiple requests for the sheets to be changed. There was no drinking water given to us despite multiple requests. The room had insects and mosquitoes and no repellent was available. The bathroom taps did not have any water when we arrived around 2:30 pm. There was a lot of noise, doors banging and people shouting in the corridors, the entire night. A total nightmare! Thank goodness we checked out in a day.Khurana - 10Scored 10

lovely village. not so touristy or crowded as the rest of Goa is becoming :( A cafe on the road to the beach Dinahs Cafe is a must visit. Excellent value for money and the owners Mary n Pascal are personally attentive to all the customers and also in the kitchen. PLENTY OF BEACH SHACKS CLOSE TO THE HOTEL SERVING TASTY DISHES. FAIRLY EASY TO GET AROUND BENAULIM. RICKSHAWS AND TAXIS ALWAYS AVAILABLE CLOSE TO THE BEACH. AVOID GETTING TOO CLOSE TO THE NUMEROUS DOGS.

Stayed for nine days as we were backpacking and needed a litt!e R and R. Found the roads very busy with drivers and riders going too fast , a few traffic calming measures really need putting in place. Plenty of places to eat or just have a drink and the beach was always lively at night. Still budget friendly places to stay if you are prepared to knock on doors and do a bit of walking and haggling. Favourite places to eat for us were Savios , Roof Top and Johnncys, all turning out great food .

We were in South Goa for 5 days, 3 days at Beleza and 2 days at Azaya. The food at these resorts and other establishments was superb. The beaches are quiet and the sunsets are perfect. We were told by those who had stayed in North Goa and then stayed in South Goa would now only stay in South Goa going forward as the beaches were quieter.

There are many restaurants within a few minutes walk serving a variety of cuisines, Indian, Thai, Italian, continental. The price of eating out with a drink is about a quarter of UK prices. Beer about £1.50, Run £2.20 for .75Lrt bottle. Several supermarkets and Wine Shops to get food & drink to consume in the apartment. Tuk Tuk ride to the beach about £1,10. The rooms were clean and all facilities are available like kitchen, fridge, microwave, water filter, TV, cloth drying stand, dining table, AC in both bedrooms etc. Sam was a very helpful host and he provided an iron box also when I needed it. A pool is also available though we didn't use it. Would definitely like to come back to this place. A small restaurant is available in the same place.

Taj is one of the most infant/child friendly hotels, they took extra care to ensure we were comfortable. Never heard a “No” from the staff for any request. Delicious food: Lobster village is my favourite and a close second is the Portuguese / Goan place. Property is huge which also ensures you have good privacy with your family

Resort is close to the clean Benaulim beach and it has some good food options available. Madgaon station is also near by in 5 km range. They have necessary things which requires for baby and for adults to make relaxing holidays. Property though looks bit old but had wonderful stay. Looking forward to visit again here and other Orchid Hotels venue too.

It was a lovely cool room with direct access to the beach and they have a restaurant and had live entertainment so I didn't have to leave to find night life. I will be returning.
