Excellent hotel, great staff and good service. The hotel was as good as expected and quite quicky in it's design and decor and very centrally placed with the city. Would recommend.

This was planned as a "pit-stop" enroute to another destination. We were pleasantly surprised by Hasselt. Charming town with good stylist shopping and great choice of wine-bars. Very friendly hospitable people.

Hasselt is a really interesting visit.
Hasselt is a really interesting visit. Its a small city centre that you can walk around with ease. Clean and very modern. Heavily pedestrianised so easy to get around on foot. Has a bit of an 'upmarket Brighton' feel about it. We liked it. Good for a long weekend visit (but no more).
Its not cheap to eat out in Hasselt but there is a huge amount of choice. We struggled to choose restaurants (wish we had eaten in the Orangery, as setting was lovely). People seemed very affluent and well dressed. Lots of shops.
We stayed for the Plopsa Indoor attraction, which we thought was very good. Our hotel was about a 20 minute walk from the city centre to the venue (the reviews suggest parking there is expensive). Attraction great for the kids and, even though summer, was surprisingly quiet. One word of advice, don't eat there. Its over priced and terrible.

Hasselt is a cute town.
Hasselt is a cute town. We were there when the shops were closed but the nightlife and choice of restaurants in the centre were great. We ate at a fantastic restaurant called Botanique (cater for vegetarians and vegans) and the service was great.

Hasselt is a small accessible city with many trendy shops, restaurants and bars (cocktail, wine ...). However, if you want to eat at a restaurant of your choice, it's advisable to book!
The best way to get around is by bicycle - once again, it's advisable to
book your bicycle in advance.
The city is safe for walking at night.
By car, it's close to beautiful woods and country side with plenty of excellent hiking paths.

Typical off the tourist track Belgian city.
Typical off the tourist track Belgian city. Lots of high end shops. Good choice of resturants. Staff in Tourist office very helpful.
Driving could be a bit problematic as streets are closed off for no apparent reason, giving the sat nav problems.
Building works (until 2020) in main square, new sewers.
Check in was simple and efficient, with plenty of organized and clear information provided by our host prior to check in. This spacious, quiet flat has everything you need including kitchen & bathroom essentials and an absolutely stunning outdoor deck with views of Hasselt. Walkable to shops, groceries & restaurants.
Very luxurious breakfast, good beds, good location for cycling in the area, nearby Hasselt (10 min by car), though very quiet location near green valley
There are 2 charge points for ev cars. It is possible to store and charge your e-bikes in a separate room
Nice and artistic hotel, though it might be difficult for those who do not like dark colours, as rooms are decorated in very dark colours. If windows are facing the street, it could be too noisy. Great breakfast, great location.
cosy small size downtown hotel. Nice room, spacious and clean. The owners are very friendly and accommodating.
They arranged an earlier breakfast on Sunday morning.
we definitely recommend it and will go back when in Hasselt.
The room was not very large but enough for me. The breakfast was great. The location was very easy to find, I walked from train station and the bus stops are very close. The hotel's cafe&restaurant is very much pleasing.
It was a good price for the room, but lots of the facilities were poor quality. I liked the overall "more special" look of the hotel. The location is also good, and I just parked a few streets further, which was free.
Outstanding breakfast.
Bike garage with separate key and sockets to charge e-bikes. Close to the nodes network. Easy to get to by bike from Hasselt train station.
