Strasbourg is a beautiful historical city. The transport system in the city is wonderful. I loved riding on the trams. The staff at the tourist office were very helpful. Reductions for being over 60 at museums. Wonderful artisan bread and cheese. Loved the Alsatian Pino Noir.

We used the map (1.50 euro) from the Strasbourg Tourist Office to do our own self-guided tour of the old town in the morning then did a 1h15 Batorama river cruise in an open-topped riverboat in the afternoon which was well worth the money (15.75 euro per person). You need to allow plenty of time to view the Strasbourg Cathedral of Notre-Dame both inside and out - the Astronomical Clock inside is a must see!

Strasbourg is clean, pedestrian friendly, with easy access to trains, buses and trams. We found it a bit confusing figuring out the transit system at first, but once done, they are great. We highly recommend the Modern Art Museum (and their cafe is lovely) and a visit to the European Parliament. The architecture in both is amazing.

We enjoyed seeing the city and walking the streets.
We enjoyed seeing the city and walking the streets. The atmosphere was very positive and joyful. You could buy interesting souvenirs. The food was variable and delicious. Lot of sweats and cakes everywhere. The sellers and staffs of sale centers tried to talk on English and it was very good since my french ability is weak. The public transportation was great. It could also be a tourist attraction.

Magical place wandering around Le petite france area.
Magical place wandering around Le petite france area. Highly recommend the tourist trains (there are two) which both go from either side of the cathedral. 45 mins each circuit. Informative and interesting. Do the one through Le Petite France first as it’s the best. The second one takes you more around the city through university area and past historical german/nazi areas. Make sure to wandering around Le Petite France on foot also though esp around the lock area by the tanners house.
The room was just good size for 2 person as we only used it at the end of everyday to sleep. I am so happy that they have a good breakfast buffet if you would like to enjoy some French breakfast before you start your day. They entire hotel was so pet friendly and we were not charged extra for the dog. The staff was so friendly and they all spoke good English to accommodate us. It was just a 20 to 30 minutes walk from the hotel to Petit France and City Centre if you didn't want to take public transport. We also had free parking for our car.
I have fully enjoyed my stay at Aparthotel Adagio Access Strasbourg Petite France. The room was spacious and clean. The location is very accessible and it was suitable for me as I had to take the bus to the airport early in the morning on my departure day.
The staff is very nice and guest-oriented, always ready to help or guide. Also, I have to mention the breakfast with many options that could meet every guest's preferences. Next time I am in Strasbourg, I'll definitely choose this location!
This hotel came highly recommended by Rick Steves and by Lonely Planet. This place deserves all glowing reviews it receives. Hotel du Dragon is tasteful, very well run and spotless business-class place near Petite France, and within 5 min walk to the Cathedral.
Our room was cute, sparkling clean, with windows looking into tree-shaded courtyard. Air condition was great during the heat wave.
Breakfast was delicious, personnel professional and friendly.
The location of Hotel Cour du Corbeau Strasbourg was outstanding for touring the historic center of Strasbourg. It is adjacent to the canal and close to the cathedral. The reception and staff were very friendly and helpful. The room and bed were comfortable and the bathroom was large with two sinks. Breakfast was wonderful and probably the best of any hotel in our two-week trip. The selection was good, and we enjoyed eating in the outdoor courtyard.
The location was great! Just a 2 minute walk from the train station. The hotel is right on a main street with restaurants, bars, grocery stores, shopping, etc. We walked to the Cathedrale and Petite France. The front desk staff was very nice and as a bonus spoke English. The room wasn't fancy but it had everything we needed and was comfortable. And two big, beautiful windows overlooking the street below.
Check-in was fine. In fact, the receptionist was happy to let my practice my somewhat limited French. I appreciated the chance to use my French. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast the following morning was good - with a wide choice of food available. Le Grand Hotel's location was very convenient. It was just a few minute's walk away from Strasbourg's main railway station.
This was an awesome hotel with a great location and in a vintage building to boot. We were only steps from Petite France. The staff was really outstanding - they went out of their way to help us and other customers while the elevator was being repaired. Breakfast was awesome - the room had roll down shutters that effectively blocked ALL light and most of the street noise.
It is an exceptional location at the very centre of Petite France, less than a 100 yards from the Cathedral. Not suprisingly, there were plenty of very attractive places to eat and drink right at the doorstep. There is a convenient publc car park less than 5 minutes' walk away, where the hotel guests get a discount. The room was fine, with an excellent shower.
Great location - a hotel with excellent facilities, a lot of character, and helpful staff.
Very near the centre, museums and Petite France.
Room and breakfast also good, with very flexible times, especially at the weekend.
Trams A & D from the main station stop only a few minutes' walk away - ideal really, Strasbourg is <2hr from Paris by TCV or ICE train.
Wonderful location for a weekend stay in Strasbourg. Comfortable rooms with nice view of the city. Hotel is a 15 minute walk to the centre of the old city, with shops (pharmacy, groceries, wine shop, bakery) only 2-3 minutes away. Staff were very kind and accommodating. Neighbourhood was quiet and very safe.
We stayed at le Bristol from 21 till 23 December, the location was more than perfect just across the gare, very close to the Christmas markets and very good restaurants around the hotel, i surely recommend and if i revisited strasbourg i will surely stay there again, thank you and joyeux noel
Lovely hotel just in the outskirts of the old town area. Tram is less than 10 mins walk and theres a bus stop right outside the hotel into the city centre. Room nice and clean, shower nice and hot and breakfast was plentiful. Would definitely recommend if staying in Strasbourg. Sláinte🇮🇪
The place was clean, nice , and well appointed. The staff was great. The beds are comfortable and the space large for the area. The location was good, with a 15 minute walk to the train station and about a 20 minute walk to la petite france.
Everything was great, the apartment is well located near city center, short walk to everything!, trams, supermarket, retail stores, restaurants, petite France neighborhood (must to see in Strasbourg). Awesome hosts!!
The location is a bit far from the city centre
The space for breakfast is not enough
There are coffee machines in other ibis style hotel but not for this one
Great location to Petite France, train station and rental car agency. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable.
