Hotel Krataiis is a 10 minute easy walk from the train station so was very convenient for us. It us also 2 minutes to the beach and close to the steps to the top town and also the old town. The hotel is exceptionally clean and has everything required. The room was large and the bed was super comfortable. The breakfast was extensive and very enjoyable. We loved the stunning beaches, views and town of Scilla. We so hope we get to return to Scilla one day and we will again book Hotel Krataiis.

The Hotel is perfectly placed right by the sea.

The views across Scilla as well as the sea views and bay views are all very beautiful. Scilla is on a hillside so expect lots of paths and steps as you explore Scilla. The lift near Bar Roxy on the beach takes you right up to the piazza and a cappuccino, or a pizza from Pizza Scilla. There are places to eat along the beach and in Scilla.
Do try the local swordfish panini! Delicious.

Close proximity to Train Station, walking distance to the Beach, Local Cafes and Restaurants along the waterfront and across from the main beach.
Walking distance to the Old town Centre either take a lift up or walk up the stairs for some paronamic views you won't be disappointed.
It is only a small coastal town with a few restaurants and Cafes to choose from

The view was spectacular.
The view was spectacular.
There was direct access to the rocks at the waterfront but no way to get in or out of the water safely. The property is advertised as The entire holiday home’ but this is false. The property has at least three apartments. We had to walk past our neighbour’s glass patio doors to access our apartment and the narrow balcony was shared.

I loved Scilla as the pace was so relaxed and a chilled vibe… I really liked where I stayed to watch the sunsets and the locals chatting in the square
Chianalea which is in walking distance is a must visit for beautiful streets and alleyways and gorgeous restaurants…
In my personal opinion no need for a car as youcan walk everywhere and there’s a train station with very regular services

The town is one of the biggest discoveries I had in years - it is probably top3 the most incredible places in Italy (at least those I have seen). It's a perfect place for a romantic trip, it offers great restaurants and great accommodation for decent prices. The views are just fantastic - it exceeded my expectations!
We loved it here!! It was one of our best highlights of our trip. Nella is absolutely amazing and beautiful. Antonio her son is also very amazing and caring to their guests. Such a beautiful family and great vibes in their beautiful b and b. We will definitely return back. The view is absolutely spectacular and sleeping every night with our doors opening just listening to the sea was so relaxing. We just fell in love with Scilla and our b and b. The best best best! Grazie a Nella e Antonio.
I arrived 3am due to a delayed flight. Thank you Antonio for being so kind and carrying our bags . And then to be there to serve us breakfast in the morning and still being the perfect host. Such an amazing breakfast with a beautiful view. Antonio you are an amazing host and your family are lovely too. The view is exceptional from the balcony and also listening to the sea as you fall asleep. Never felt so relaxed. Scilla is beautiful. The whole experience was something very special.

Mimmo was a wonderful host - really helpful and arranged transport to and from the train station which was really great. The room was fabulous, super clean with great facilities and a terrace with the best view! Breakfast was fab too - we took coffee, croissants and juice at the cafe bar Casa Vela just a few steps down the road and the quality of the products was top and the staff were lovely. We will definitely book to stay again on our next visit to Scilla, we loved it!!
In mid-Oct, we had the whole hotel to ourselves, so it was great (although the pool had been closed). We had a Junior suite/balcony, perched up the hill outside of Scilla with brilliant sunset views of Messina, and of Scilla town in the other direction. Just excellent to sit on the balcony and have a drink at the end of the day! Breakfast was very good. Free parking. The room was very nicely sized, with modern amenities. Staff were very helpful and welcoming.
Wonderful hosts and guesthouse! We enjoyed the proximity to Scilla beach and Chianalea. Snacks, coffee, tea, juices available on arrival. Exceptional coffees and buffet breakfast - cold cuts, cheeses, bread, cornettos, sweet pastries, fruits, nuts, yogurts, jams, butter and spreads. Great view of the sea and sunset from the balcony. Delightful theme room. Parking was close and easy to find, comfortable beds and pillows and great wi-fi.
The room is cozy, tidy and clean and the view is really beautiful. Antonio is an amazing host who knows perfectly how to take care of his guests and make them feel welcome every single day of their stay. The place is located close to a couple stairs that take you directly to the beach in a couple minutes and you can reach the fishermen village of Chianalea, Scilla's castle and many great restaurants in really short time.
The location of the hotel is in the center of Scilla, on the main street of the old town. A lot of restaurants and the beaches in
5 min per foot reachability. The balcony of the room was directly going into the see, which is impressive experience. The room is big. The breakfast was very good and the personnel is extremely cheerful.
We found a clean and classy room, as the entire hotel! Perfect the location in the heart of the upper part of Scilla, easy to reach by foot or by the elevator that connect the bottom to the upper part of Scilla! Breakfast was sweet and rich of homemade products. Owners were helpful and kind! I really recommend this hotel!
I liked everything about this place. The building is unique and the interior design and aesthetic has distinct character. The staff makes you feel very familiar. The breakfast has plenty of fresh and delicious choices to drink the amazing cappuccino. Great place to stay on your visit to Scilla.
It was very clean, the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Our room had great views and Breakfast on the terrace was a nice touch. The hotel is located a short walk from some very good restaurants; but beware there can be some steep hills and many steps to negotiate, but it is worth it.
Location in the middle of Scilla is beautiful and convenient for restaurants, walking around town, castle and to the beach.
There's a big kitchen if someone want to use.
Nice terrace (in my room).
Helpful and nice host.
Good breakfast served in cafeteria nerby.
This BnB was fantastic for two people. It was updated, clean, and had an AMAZING view. Antony was a great host who made sure the stay was comfortable and informed us of restaurants and things to do in Scilla. I highly recommend a stay in one of the rooms here!
Scilla is a lovely town. Caserta Verde is in a great part of the town. This is where the local people live. Nice property, clean and tidy.
Angela was a lovely host and helped us. Also close to the Castle and the beaches.
Even though the building is in a densely built-up area, the windows face towards the hills, and it is quiet all the time.
Thanks to Andrea's father we arrived at the house from Scilla train station with his car.
The staff was very kind and friendly. The hotel is beyond gorgeous and our room was huge and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, and the location was outstanding. Plus the price was quite reasonable.
The place is amazing. The breakfast was so diverse and rich
The room was so big, and nice.
The hotel is very meticulous in every corner, the design and the photos everything fits the place.
