Spacious apartment, reasonably quipted kitchen, friendly owners, and my highlight West facing terrace for waching sunsets. The owners kindly shared with us one night a delicious home cooked meal, which was very tasty. Lots of space for drying kite gear.

Beach and bars very close to beach - quite a strong current in the sea not far out so need to be confident swimmer .

The suite in the JW Marriott Hotel was very spacious and clean. The balcony had a beautiful view overlooking tbe ocean, comfortable bench and chairs. Beautiful garden and pool. The food was not very good, and the room was very basic and the bed was extremely uncomfortable and with low quality sheets. Le Morne is a national park and an imposing background to several luxury hotels. We admired it from the beach only and did not attempt the climb. There is not much else to do in the area apart from relax at one of the hotels - unless you wind surf. We had a car and did not find much in the way of shops or restaurants. Every local maurician will tell you thay if you are looking at beauty and quiet area (the nigh life is not like filc en flac) le morne and the beachcomber resorts is one of the best choice on the island. No question asked, when we return we will go back at le Morne area and the south of the island, this is paradise

Its a good place to go to Chamarel or to dive or biking or hiking or just bathing. Theres also a wonderful public beach, if you wont stay at a expensiv hotel and also cheaper Apartments in la Gaulette. We went also to a walk with lions in the casella adventure park. Great experiance

Beach was absolutely great. The five restaurants were all good, we tried them all. Hotel has an excellent gym, great spa and the concierge will help arrange for a variety of excursions, we went to see dolphins and whales.

The hotel staff is beyond friendly, but on a an eye-level. LUX promises to make the stay extraordinary with experiences like YOGA at the beach or an urchin-tasting at VIK´s place.
