Location was good for our purposes and it was good that they had undercover parking. Our carport was right by our unit but for others they would be walking possibly in the rain with the luggage to get from their room to the car.

I have never been to Rangiora - although I am a Kiwi and have been to Christchurch many times. Rangiora seemed a vibrant little town with some great little boutique shops - very impressed and very clean. Only wished we had one more day to explore.

Rangiora has boutique shops, pharmacy, banks, lots of grocery options. Petrol stations for gas, diesel, lpg. Town of 20,000 means all amenities. Pool for family, River for dogs or family.
Sea close by for a swim or sunbathe, sunscreen needed.
Mt Grey or Thomas for walks.
The unit was very clean and tidy. Numerous heaters so we were really warm and toasty. The shower had great pressure and the provided a hair dryer that worked really well, not like usual hotel ones that are very weak. The couches were the highlight, they were so comfy and all reclined. Full kitchen facilities made it really easy, and the beds were really comfy, all with electric blankets fitted. Would 100% stay again and recommend.
Mt Thomas Rd B&B is located on a quiet road about 10 minutes' drive out of Rangiora. It is a comfortable studio space with a small lounge and kitchenette area. There was plenty of choice provided for the continental breakfast (cereals, breads, jams, butter, yogurt, and a selection of teas and coffee).
Annie was a lovely host and was very responsive to our pre-arrival questions and requests.
We were looking for a rural setting close to Rangiora so this was perfect.
All communication was easy & efficient. (Thanks for the slightly earlier check in.)
Brendon had the fire going for us which made the place very cosy, in a spacious building. Everything was 100%
Fresh eggs were supplied for breakfast along with muffins. Such a character setting.
WE WILL BE BACK :)
Location is great, hotel is perfect, owners are very nice, nice personal touches in the form of greeting note and chocolates and great communication. Cooked breakfast option would be nice for a $200+ a night room but not necessary. All in all a good stay. Thanks.
Renovated stables are now available very comfortable air bnb.The rural vista was lovely after a day of travelling.
A warm welcome and good advice on nearby eatery.
Close to both Rangiora and Kaiapo.
absolutely amazing, we have just stayed for a week at Lilybrook for an event in rangiora. home away from home. great rooms, grounds and parking. Aaron is a “bloody good bloke”
Was great having a tavern/hotel next door which served good meals which were also value for money. Lovely staff there as well and drinks reasonably priced.
