Hamilton Island is a great place and a great stop over if going onto Hayman Island. We were worried if our flight was delayed in any way we would miss our boat transfer to Hayman Island so we came in a day earlier. It was a very nice overnight stay allowing us to explore Hamilton Island.

Apart from the overpriced accommodation we found it to be a relaxed atmosphere. We love golf so was able to fit in two games on Dent Island. The views really are breath-taking from the course. Golf club restaurant probably the best in both food (although a bit limited in variety) and to take in the amazing views across the azure water. Cocochu restaurant offers a fresh and varied menu. Make sure you book in advance as very popular. There is some coral located just out from cats eye beach so pack your snorkel and mask to see a variety of tropical fish, rays, reef sharks and likely to come across a sea turtle munching on the sea grass at the bottom. One tree hill to take in the surrounding views

The island has lots an options for dining and the tour operators are very professional. The prices can seem high but the quality of the offering is very good and of an international standard. Look for the deals and you can get some activities for free. The island shuttle buses are very handy for getting around.

It is a quite island, perfect for relaxing and taking it easy. Whilst relaxing there were also plenty of things to do e.g. there are some excellent hikes/bush walks to do across the island, half of full day trips to Whitehaven beach and regular ferries to Airlie Beach; lots of water sports as well.

Our first time at Hamilton Island with our sons aged 15 and 10. So much to do for families, every day was a new adventure. Highlights were the jetsking safari, navigating the island with a golf cart, beautiful warm weather and quad bike tours. Booked the half day to Whitehaven beach and didn’t enjoy at all. $470 for a family to be stuck on a beach with zero shade in the sun. Wasn’t brave enough to rush being stung by the jellyfish, even with the stinger suits on. Therefore, nothing to do but cook on the sand. Very overrated Beach. Other than that, great family holiday.

View was Amazing. Lovely customer service.
View was Amazing. Lovely customer service. Bathroom Room & noise was the most disappointing. The only two reasons of not really wanting to go back.
Also Disappointing no free water available and to pay for late check out and how expensive the breakfast.

The location was great and the apartment was nice, it would not take much to make it a great experience. The apartment caretakers were exceptional and very responsive to our requests, but could only do as much as the owners would accept. The cracked and chipped crockery was replaced whilst we were there, but only 4 Tumblers. Being used to airbnb experiences where Hosts take pride in their property and value their guests this was a disappointing experience and I would be disinclined to use bookings.com again.
This place felt like a home away from home rather than a rental. The kitchen was actually well stocked with utensils and crockery making cooking easy - which is a much cheaper option if you're staying for a while.
The property has a lovely view of the water and nearby islands.
Plenty of wildlife visitors to watch including birds, possums, lizards and a peacock!
Apartment came with a buggy making it easier to get around the island.
The location is great but having a golf buggy at your leisure made our stay even better.
We couldn’t turn on the air conditioning but we left our hosts a message and they came and fixed it within an hour which was great.
The complex pool was nice when we felt like getting away from the crowds at the beach.
These apartments are quieter than the hotels.
The view is excellent.
Really enjoyed staying at the Whitsunday apartments. So worth it to pay extra for the Oceanview because you get the perfect view of the beach and bay. You even get to sit back and watch the sunrise straight from your balcony !
The room was clean and spacious. Was always so warm and cosy from the sunlight coming in. Will definitely come and stay again.
Modern clean apartment with great views.
Location is ideal and with the golf buggy you only minutes from the marina and restaurants, while Catseye beach and the Hamilton Island pool with swim up bar is 5 minutes away.
The provision of the golf buggy makes this apartment so much more value for money when compared to other options.
The wonderful location with amazing sea view, excellent facilities, airport pick up and handy use of the buggy to get around Hamilton Island.
Frangipani apartments are conveniently located at the end of Catseye Beach close to the beach for a dip and right next to the start of the walking trails.
Someone greeted us at the airport to transfer us to our accommodation. Free buggy included saved us from having to spend $100 a day to hire, they also provided a child car seat to install in the buggy. Space was really big with laundry and kitchen. We also used the BBQ.
The unit was perfect for our group of 7 adults. The unit was well equipped and within walking district of the shops and restaurants on Hamilton Island. A buggy was also provided and this was great to get around the island and visit the beach and lookout.
Beautiful spot in the world, Hotel is a little dated but to my understanding they are completing renovations we did revived a $300 credit to use with was fantastic ! Needs a few more cleaners around the hotel cleaning surfers and floors daily.
For our first stay on Hamilton Island this was a fantastic experience. Loved the private golf buggy; staff meeting us on arrival and orientating us to property; walking distance to all restaurants and private pool.
Our accommodation was perfectly located. A short walk or buggy drive to shops and beach/pool.
The islands IGA & bottle shop stocked most items & was great for those balcony bbq over looking the water.
We were meet at the Hamilton Island airport by Ann, she was fantastic and then it was time to check out she helped us again. All the workers where great. I cannot fault the town house or the host.
Was great! Apartment was great for our family. Great size for our family of five and spacious balcony overlooking the ocean.
Location was great. Close to marina and resort side also.
did not have breakfast .The location was out of this world wonderful open views over the ocean watching all the boats sale in and out of Hamilton island
