Mansfield is a beautiful country town within easy reach of Melbourne. The town itself has everything you need with an array of shops and dining options. The countryside surrounding Mansfield is beautiful and scenic. There is lots to explore from Mansfield and most accommodation places will happily head you in the right suggestion. We keep going back! The Delatite Pub is great for dinner. There is a great vintage shop. There are wineries, gardens, great spots within easy reach for watersports.

Mansfield is a fantastic community with a vibrant vibe.
Mansfield is a fantastic community with a vibrant vibe. The locals are ready to assist, advise, and help with navigation. It has been an outstanding pleasure conversing with a few—they smile, take the time to talk to strangers, and answer questions about the quirky things visitors notice.
Best dining ever: The Mansfield Hotel. They had to renovate the whole building after the more than one-hundred-year-old European tree collapsed in their beer garden. The outcome is benchmarking. But wait—the food was a five-star Michelin without making a fuzz about it. The price was very fair. If I had stayed longer, I would have dined there every night!
Next, I visited the quirky cafe with the Yellow Umbrellas, not far from the Mansfield Hotel. The breakfast they served exceeded my expectations, and I took the time to return. I loved sitting on the tables outside.
I pedalled it off on the Great Victorian Rail Trail- it's a rocker of a landscape, transversing through Bonnie Doon from Mansfield with a very soft gradient so that one can clock up miles and tick off another 100 without even noticing.
I stayed at the Mansfield Valley Motor Inn- and they were amazing, too. In walking distance to my favourite eating-out experiences to refuel, I got a room upgrade for free to optimise my stay.
I will surely come back! A special thanks to all those friendly locals. You guys are amazing.

The accommodation was very comfortable with everything including breakfast available, fully stocked tea selection, hot chocolate and coffee machine. The spa bath was amazing and a must have when you stay here. Outdoor flow to a secluded sunny courtyard makes for a very relaxing stay.

Great town with all facilities you could ask for.
Great town with all facilities you could ask for. We enjoyed pottering about and visiting some of the small towns around and about. Highlight was our visit to the Snobs Creek Falls. We ate at Jamieson Brewery and Bar

Mansfield is a beautiful town.
Mansfield is a beautiful town. Close to mount buller and lake eildon. Plenty of activities, cafes and restaurants. Great to drive around and look at the scenery, great for camping and hiking, skiing, mountain bike riding, motorbike riding.
Gracious hosts. Beautiful view. Peaceful. The fireplace was awesome, Richard replenished the firewood everyday which is very thoughtful of the proprietors. The heated blankets in all the rooms during this very cold rainy winter is an absolute bonus. My wife misplaced her diamond rings and totally forgotten about it during checked out. Karyn found them and called me to collect within an hour or so while we’re having breakfast in Mansfield town, their kind and honest gestures spared my missus lots of heartache. Thank you. Will return!
Was initially concerned about the shared bathroom facilities - but it was not an issue when we were there. The bedroom was well-equipped with comfortable bed. Location was great as it is in the middle of Mansfield. Was given some notice by staff member that there would be a live-band in the bar downstairs - but it was not an issue as we did not hear anything throughout the night. The meals at the Bistro were great as well. Highly recommended for anyone who is in the area or using Mansfield as a stopover to Mt Buller.
Friendly and helpful host, peaceful location with spectacular grounds, amazing spacious suite and living area, great self catering facilities. The weather was a bit wet for enjoying all the possible outdoor activities but we had a lovely relaxing couple of days with visits to Mansfield (the Produce Store is a must for ready to go meals and desserts) and a couple of art exhibitions.
Clean comfy always quiet, so close to town. Community safe feeling for mums travelling. Always stay here for visits to Mansfield area. Walking distance to town.
Being a caravan park it’s a fancy one!! Got that safe feeling. Everyone friendly. Stayed in cabins and the hotel style luxury rooms. Full kitchen large fridge stay a night stay a month. Private and beautiful landscapes
The breakfast basket supplied was perfect, the location of the property is perfect a short 15 minute drive away from the Mansfield town centre but yet hidden in the lovely country side away from all the noise. The host Gavan was very accommodating very caring. We loved having a chat with him.
Everything, fantastic facilities with all the comforts of home. Didn't feel like a hotel. Spa was wonderful after a long day skiing. Room was huge and well appointed. Even though resort was full it is so spacious it felt like hardly anyone was there, very peaceful
Old motel that has had NO money spent on it for may many years
Definitely not worth what I paid
Bed very old and uncomfortable
Bathroom very old
Garden untidy needed attention
Building is in poor condition
It was clean and that was noticeable
Beautiful place to stay just outside of Mansfield. The property is beautifully set up for a quick get away and has everything you need. Josh was really hospitable too and gave us some great tips on where to eat etc. Will definitely be back!
The location is very central for Mansfield shopping and restaurants, but away from the main roads and very quiet. The host provided clear instructions and was helpful. Undercover marked parking space.
We had a wonderful stay in Mansfield glamping. Very relaxing with beautiful views. Host Josh is very helpful. Would definitely recommend to others. We would definitely stay again.
Good value if you are ok with old fashion pub rooms with shared bathrooms. Super balcony and in the heart of Mansfield. No aircon and upstairs so hot weather could be a problem.
location excellent - very close to pubs / meals and of course very important coffee and no need to use car while at site - would highly recommend to anyone going to Mansfield.
Lovely Motor Hotel Rooms with quaint outdoor seating along patio by the gardens & pool, very helpful, friendly staff. Would definitely return again if ever I were in Mansfield.
Amazing location right in the center of Mansfield. Check in and out is super easy. The beds are really comfy, the air conditioning is perfect and the bath is so relaxing.
It was very handy having a fully equipped kitchen and meals area available - it was roomy, light and clean. The motel was very well located for our activities.
