Close to attractions and a great base area to stay close to Cairns but far enough away to have a Little peace and quiet. Very conveniently located. We stayed because the roads were closed on the Bruce hiway and chose to stay at Kawarra beach. Was so impressed that we will stay there another time for a little longer.

I purposely chose a more isolated location so that quality time and freedom could be enjoyed with the grandkids. Kewarra Beach was perfect and the local shops were more than adequate for anything we needed. Very close to Smithfiled Shopping Centre and cinemas.

We had a relaxing few days
We had a relaxing few days Plenty to do even though it was raining . Very pretty and friendly location . Accommodation was perfect and very kids friendly Will travel back soon and spend some time in Cairns it’s self
