Turaco Lodge - No Loadshedding, hotel in Marloth Park

Turaco Lodge - No Loadshedding is located in the Marloth Park Wildlife Conservancy. Kruger National Park is just a 20-minute drive from the lodge.

Lovely service, warm welcoming on our arrival and friendly staff, I would give 10, ,but the sink in the bathroom was blocked and when washing face and teeth not vert plesant. Other than that all great, exceptional service. We had to leave early for the morning safari, our breakfast was carefully packed and waiting for us. Shame we could not stay longer, I am sure the restaurant would be also great. I would recoment with no hesitation.

Everything. This place is amazing. The owner, management, and staff were all outstanding. The room we stayed in was meticulous. The food was delicious. What stood out for me were all the little details - the decorations, the food presentation, the table decorations. What a treat this place was!

    Close to crocodile bridge.

Close to crocodile bridge. Malelane is only half an hour away. Komatipoort is small and does not have many storey, so get your groceries from malelane before you get to Marloth . They were opening a small spar there before we left marloth.

Staying at Marloth Park allows you to view animals within the park and is close to the Kruger Park if you are going to do a day visit there.- The Kruger Maroela Lodge was well priced and very comfortable. Very friendly owners who went out of their way to make our stay so enjoyable. The on site restaurant had a good menu that is well priced. Well worth using. I would definitely stay at Maroele Lodge again!!

Lovely to stay amongst the animals and to enjoy nature.

Lovely to stay amongst the animals and to enjoy nature. However, for more that 30 years, nothing has been done to improve roads. The roads really are in very poor condition. For example, if they have paved 50 meters of road every month, then after 30 years they would have covered 18 Km! Shops and restaurants are good and are still improving. Security is very good.

We enjoy Marloth, it has been our go to place for years.

We enjoy Marloth, it has been our go to place for years. We like to get away from the hussle and bussle of everyday life. However Marloth has become a little messy. The "bus stop/workers" section opposite Marlothi is a turn off. It looks messy and sort of townshiplike. Hopfefully Marloth can take action against the messiness of the parttime workers

What I like most of Marloth Park was the free roaming wild...

What I like most of Marloth Park was the free roaming wild life in their natural habitat. They came up to your door. Buy your groceries before coming to Marloth Park. However if you forgot anything do not worry the town has a little shop where you can find everything you need. Respect for animals. Guided bushwalk with Rick a must. Various restaurants with reasonable prices with good food. Sit back relax and just watch the animals and birds. Nice stalls with homemade goodies for us city slickers. Quad bike rides really nice experience with your older children, extremely fun even for me doing it for the first time with my son. Do not worry you drive on a plot just outside Marloth park gate so wild life is not disturbed.

Great location, right next to the world's most famous wildlife park. A real South African gem; excellent food and a super bar with a fire every evening; fantastic verandah with a too-die-for view of the Crocodile River; elegant safari rooms (with a heavenly scent) and amazing tub and shower. Definitely take the nature walk (I learned a lot and it was fun.) Hosts are wonderful--a lovely, very kind couple that think of everything and make you feel like you are part of a wonderful country. Will be coming back--bringing friends this time!

We liked everything! With 3 bedrooms, each each en-suite (all showers, no bath), Kitchen with everything we needed, TV with full DSTV and aircon in the living and bedrooms there was little to want for. So many animals visited us at the house we only needed to go to the Kruger to see the big 5!! Well located close to the shop and restaurants, and walking distance from the lookout point over the Crocodile river. The house is not fancy, but super comfortable, and won't leave you wanting anything. Great value!

The hosts Linique&Pierre were fantastic in this stunning place ! Pierre took us on an interesting bush walk in Marloth Park where many harmless animals ( bucks, giraffes, warthogs etc) roam freely. so while enjoying a drink by the pool Antilopes pass by . Incredible! From the terrace upstairs we‘ve had a fantastic view over the river . Linique really made us feel at home and pampered us . Organized the game drive to Kruger , bicycles. we so much enjoyed our stay that we extended our stay for 1 day !

Beautiful house in the bush. Clean and modern. Great shower, comfy beds, lovely pool and braai area. Lots of game milling around. We have been to Marloth Park 5x and this was the first time we saw giraffe (and everyday and very close to the house). The fire pit area had 2 concrete benches (not like the wooden chairs on the pictures) but still perfectly suitable. Sheldon was a great and very communicative host.

This home should be called place of tranquility. The photos do not do this beautiful house justice. We have been staying in Marloth Park for many years for our September holiday and this house is like home. Exceptionally clean and no loadshedding! The layout is perfect, and so are the facilities. The owner was extremely helpful, friendly, and accommodating. We will most certainly be back.

The staff were efficient, friendly, and super helpful. There are antelope, wildebeest, warthog, and other animals that are free to roam around Marloth Park. The food they served us was delicious. The bed was comfortable. The air conditioner was given a workout because the outside temperatures were in the mid 30s. The plunge pool was fantastic. The split day game drive was outstanding.

This prestine Argitechtural Beauty was Bliss for the soul and ideally located in Marloth Park. Quiet, away from the main road and all the park visitors like Impala, Zebra, Giraffe, Kudu, Bushbuck, bushpigs, duiker and too many bird species to count. EXCELLENT personal service from the Partners and short of nothing. Will definately return.

Bernadette the hostess bubbly, professional & full of helpful tips on how to enjoy Marloth Park. Accommodation lovely. Deck backed on to the bush & saw many animals up close. I was given daily updates on load shedding schedules which helped me plan my day. I would definitely recommended this accommodation to anyone.

I have traveled and stayed in top Hotels around the world, but this was such a top experience, world class. The staff and management went overboard to entertain and keep you happy with food, music, game drives etc. I will always go back there. I cannot thank them enough for a brilliant stay.
