Paleocastrica- it’s nothing like picturesque village.
Paleocastrica- it’s nothing like picturesque village. It’s big parking sides with lots of cars and coaches ,very busy
Lots of abandoned ,rusted cars and boats just left on the sides of the road . Paleocastrica it’s a port
where tourists are coming to rent a boats for a day trip
Beaches are small, not clean , very overcrowded. Sea waters are polluted because each beach it’s a station for lots of boats
There is no decent place to eat .
It’s looking beautiful on pictures, but different when you’re there.
Disappointing

Great views and a couple of nice beaches.
Great views and a couple of nice beaches. The hinterland is beautiful with some good hiking. Town is a bit haphazard and untidy. Totally closes in the off-season. Closest supermarket (good) 2 kilometres, cafe 3 kilometres, restaurant (great) 5 kilometres away

Paleokastritsa is an absolute gem of a destination, and my recent visit left me in awe of its beauty and charm. The natural beauty of Paleokastritsa is truly breathtaking. The clear, turquoise waters of the Ionian Sea meet the lush, green landscape, creating a postcard-perfect scene. The jagged cliffs and numerous small coves and beaches make it a haven for nature enthusiasts, photographers, and sunseekers alike. One of the standout experiences in Paleokastritsa is visiting the Monastery of the Virgin Mary. Perched on a hill overlooking the village, the monastery offers panoramic views of the sea and the surrounding landscape. It's a peaceful and spiritual place that provides a glimpse into the region's history and culture.

Lots of restaurants.
Lots of restaurants. Three beaches and others accessible by water taxi. Mainly sandy. Excursions easy to book. Nice little aquarium with a guided tour. Very busy, all the coach parties from the cruise ships come here. Large free carpark.

We visited in October, and unfortunately a lot of the restaurants nearby were closing or closed for the season, so we had to make alternative plans/eat on a limited menu.
We still had a great time, but just worth considering if travelling around October!

Paleokastritsa is a perfect holiday destination.
Paleokastritsa is a perfect holiday destination. Easily accessible from the Corfu airport by public bus. Located between the sea and mountains provides both beach experience with various sports (swimming, snorkeling, motor boats) and interesting hiking paths all around. Plenty of accomodation opportunities so everyone can find something to their liking! Lots of tavernas, shops, and car&bike&scooters rentals. Many nice beaches bigger with all amenities and smaller secluded ones providing peace&quiet. Highly recommended!
The location and the food! the FOOD was well made and it was wonderful! fresh with a good selection and plentiful, nice friendly wait staff! and location location! right across from a great snorkeling beach with lots to do and if it got too crowded there are two other beaches half a block away! If you wanted, and we did we took a boat that took us on a tour and then dropped us at a beautiful quiet beach only accessible by boat. lovely way to shake off the 20 hours of travel. this for us was a very reasonable cost and we enjoyed our stay.
prime location in front of one of the Paleokastritsa amazing beach!! simple rooms but comfortable and VERY clean . the owners and stuff are lovely people, immediately you feel as being part of one big happy family. breakfast at the facility restaurant is great, if you’d like to change to any dish in the menu - the answers is always YES ! we left towards the airport early morning and the team insisted preparing wonderful Sandwiches for us which we enjoyed very much in our flight back . we will definitely come back !!
Cosy little apartment, quiet and clean. Katerina was very friendly and helpful. The size of the room was perfect for us, good instalations. There is a shop/bakery at the end of the road, as well as the bus stop to Corfu. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, very convenient. It is at the top of a hill, so you'll do some healthy exercise (Paleokastritsa is like that). TV and wifi didn't work, but we were there only for one night, so it didn't affect us. Katerina was there all the time to assist us with a big smile :)
Talking about Studios Paleokastritsa without mentioning its owner makes no sense. The place is cozy, clean and halfway from the main tourist destinations. However, the availability of the host was what made up the whole stay, always close by, always just a message away. He showed us the best restaurants, the best places for sunsets or even the best routes, provided medical assistance and saved us when we were locked abroad. Thinking about going back to Corfu without Spiros' help makes no sense. A real 10/10
When we arrived our room was occupied. But hostess was so kind to find a better room for us quickly and without any problems. And I am grateful to her for that.
So I can`t say nothing about room facilities, cleaness etc.
But there is one thing I must say:
if you planning to visit Corfu, you should stay in Paleokastritsa for a couple of nights at least.
Beautiful coastline and baysides, neighbor villages - you have to see it.
And once more thank you, kind hostess!
(sorry, I forgot your name:))
Simple cozy accommodation with a great view, convenient location, and a hospitable host. A small supermarket is just a couple of minutes of walk towards a beautiful Agios Spiridon Beach with fantastic snorkeling and boats to get a cave tour. Quite a few restaurants and taverns are around as well. A 15 minutes walk to Paleokastritsa Monastery with a great spot to view a sunset. A donkey trail to Lakones via a beautiful Olive Garden. I'd definitely recommend it to get the best Corfu experience.
We travelled via scooter from south east corfu up to the Paleo inn for a quick little one night visit. We love this place having stayed there pre covid via package holidays with Tui.
We love the beautiful relaxed setting, stunning view, amazing staff and family. Our favourite place in Paleokastritska ❤️❤️❤️As always we left with lovely memories of this quaint and quirky little hotel. Made more special by the people it links us too. Can't wait to return as soon as we can.
Everything was perfect, really, my boyfriend and I have been camping around Europe , and I have to say that this camping was by far the best one! The staff Maria and her sister were so kind and helpful, the tent that we stayed was really cozy, the bathroom was great, and always clean! The cleaning lady was there everyday to make sure of it. The beaches around the camping were the best ones to stay in Corfu (my opinion). I highly recommend it!
Everyone working there was so helpful, and went out of their way to welcome us and give us great recommendations. We visited many places in Corfu, but Paleokastritsa was undoubtedly the most beautiful, and this hotel is very well located, being an easy walk to all the main beaches, the port (for fantastic boat rides to hidden beaches and caves), the monastery, and many restaurants. The pool was also fantastic. 100% recommend :)
I recently stayed at Paraskevi Apartments in Paleokastritsa, Corfu, and I had a nice experience. The location was perfect, situated on a hill close to a beautiful beach (btw, you cannot see the beach from there because of the trees), and the surrounding area was peaceful and quiet. The studio itself was impeccably clean, and the host was extremely helpful and accommodating. They even waited for us for a late check-in.
Stunning nature views from Afrodite's Pool and Studios!
Great location, near to the most popular beaches of Paleokastritsa, 30 min by car to Corfu Town, and a lot of restaurants nearby! The host was very kind and helpful because explained what to do in Corfu, and where to go, it is important when you come for the first time to Corfu.
Recommend this stay!
The room was clean and fresh, the view of the beach from the balcony was a great bonus, the location was perfect and just across the road from the beach (less than 1 minute walk), the staff were very helpful and accommodating to our needs and the traditional Greek breakfast was delicious. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to visit corfu.
Great location, great hosts. This is the perfect area to explore the island with all the best beaches around. The landlady cleaned the property every day, gave us very good suggestions for restaurants and also gave us cucumber from her garden, which was awesome. It is of great advantage that the house has its own parking spot.
We liked everything:
- Great location
- Most comfortable bed we slept in during our 10 day vacation in Corfu (we stayed at 3 more places before Paleokastritsa)
- AMAMIZNG room view!
- Communication with the host before and during our stay went smoothly
- Well equipped kitchen
Everything about the room and value of the room was perfect. We stayed in a 5* hotel in pelekas too in the same trip that wasn’t as modern as sea view and also didn’t have a sea view. It was also much cheaper. Overall the best value room in all of corfu!
Ms Heleni was so nice and adorable. The location is great if you like to walk to the beaches, we liked the fact that our rooms was cleaned everyday also anything we asked for has been taken care of so really good value for money.
The hotel is perfect located in front on the beach. It has a restaurant which serves food all day. Staff are nice and there is a big balcony to chill and relax
