Guilderton has an Estuary and The Ocean.

Guilderton has an Estuary and The Ocean. The real charm and uniqueness is the abundance of magnificent Tuart Trees and mixed Woodland along the Estuary and through the built Town site. It is not Flat. It is an undulating terrain with many mature trees in gardens, supporting a a whole range of Birdlife. Particularly, small birds. Bird song in the mornings , in mid February, was very special. Taking a short Cruise up the Moor River Estuary allows one to see the variety of Dunes and Vegetation growing down to the water line.

Guilderton and the Moore River are beautiful holiday stays...

Guilderton and the Moore River are beautiful holiday stays for all. Lots to do in the river, including swimming, and a stunning beach/coastline too. We had the Gabbadah park across from our accommodation which we had a family bbq and kids played on the playground and swings . Recommend Guilderton 100%

Looks like a great place to take children with water sports.

Looks like a great place to take children with water sports. Internet coverage a bit doggy though. Only 2 choices of place to eat, 1 closes at 6pm so would benefit from self contained accommodation. Caravan park look good, not for us though. Kayak hire, putt putt, swimming and BBQs. Maybe not so much for a couple retreat although we enjoyed the simplicity and quiet. Can always head to the Country Club for a drink and a meal.

Great location to get away from the rush of everyday life...

Great location to get away from the rush of everyday life and unwind. There is plenty to do down at the rivers mouth with boat hire, swimming and picnicking. There are very few conveniences so bring everything you need.

Neither wild and wonderful or handy facilities.

Neither wild and wonderful or handy facilities. Maybe suffering pricewise by being in easy drive of Perth. Seemed to fall between two stools. Facilities very poor and very limited. Understandable if a long way out but it wasn’t. Good for walking on beach, taking dogs. Very poor for somewhere to eat. Eating at home only real option but no shops apart from very limited roadhouse and store.
