Lovely quiet little town with excellent facilities.
Lovely quiet little town with excellent facilities. Some nice cafes and the Boating Club and the Golf Club were welcoming. We particularly enjoyed the Boating Club which provided excellent service, and great food at very reasonable prices

Unseasonable rain and windy conditions would be the only downside to the trip. Yorkys is a perfect spot for a family holiday. The location on the esplanade was close to cafes and local shops. Walking access to the beach is ideal.

We loved the area.
We loved the area. It's peaceful and not touristy yet central to all Cairns has to offer. The beach is wonderful with long walks if you want. We found a couple of great cafe's nearby and nice places to eat and there's the Yorkeys Knob boathouse as well. We were really impressed with the area to be honest. Our son also did kite surfing right out the front.

Peter, the owner, is a great person, always very helpful and knowledgeable in regards to all possible tours, which are being offered in the region. The beautiful property, consists of just 8 apartments in villa style, beautiful surrounded by tropical vegetation. A nicely shaped pool is just 20 meters away from all 8 apartments.
