Continental breakfast, which is always awkward and tasteless. Room had a noticeable musty smell to it. Awesome location convenient parking right outside the door of your room. Very nice parking lot layout, fantastic, pool and lounge.

Saint Germain is a small town right in the middle of the larger towns of Minocqua (to the West) and Eagle River (to the East). This makes Saint Germain a good location if you want to spend time in both places. Saint Germain seems to be less crowded than either Minocqua or Eagle River, which makes it ideal for snowmobiling, ATVing, or going fishing and boating on one of the many area lakes.
There is an excellent Italian restaurant, Spang's, which I highly recommend. Prices and service are good.

I've been going to St. Germain since the early 90's. I've eaten at practically every restaurant(all are great!), drank at practically every bar, and saw all the sites. Easy to get around, once you get the layout of the town.

St. Germain lacks commercialization.
St. Germain lacks commercialization. However, it has beautiful scenery, lots of clear lakes, & wonderful hiking and bike trails.
The town itself is small but the area is larger and convenient to Bolder Junction and Minocqua where retail is abundant.

Rode our bikes on a very nice trail from the Whitetail to the town. Had a cup of coffee at DJ's. The guy that was waiting tables was a dud. Not friendly and a bit of a smart ass. Not ever going there again. He acted like somebody didn't show up for work and he was taking it out on the customers.
