Centralia has a lot going for it. The Outlet Malls are a wonderful place to shop, my 10 year old loves the Nike outlet. Very affordable town. Has roller skating, bowling alleys etc to keep the kiddos happy. Several nice parks plus fishing in season. If you prefer antiques Centralia has plenty of those as well in the downtown corridor

There was a wonderful park close to the Motel, with a lake.
There was a wonderful park close to the Motel, with a lake. It was cold out, but it was a wonderful walk. Oh yes, sun was out. Grandson found out how cold the water was. He put his feet in water and came right back out. Nice dog park there as well. Did not have a lot of time to see much more of Centralia. But would like to come back and see more.

The housekeeper was awesome!
The housekeeper was awesome! The continental breakfast was good. The noise level was horrible! The people upstairs were running around and playing music loudly from 10pm until after 3am. When we called to complain (at 3am), the night sift desk worker stated it was “the workers” and was rude and hung up on us when we questioned her answer. The next night (when it happened again), she said she knew who it was and supposedly called them. It did not get better. There were always Derelicts outside the room and my granddaughter (20yrs old) did not feel safe going outside by herself as they kept approaching her. Centralia is close to Olympia so there was good shopping there and the outlet stores in Centralia itself. Good eating and coffee places within walking distance. I will NOT stay at this hotel again. They advised an indoor swimming pool but it was being “remodeled “. They didn’t tell us that when we booked and the kids were very disappointed 😢

We live on the Southern Oregon Coast and came up to purchase a vehicle in Chehalis. Centralia was great! We stayed at McMenamins Olympic Club the first night at the Grand Ballroom and Hotel our second night. Both places are highly recommended. The concentration of good places to eat, lots of antique shops and other fun shops while maintaining a small town feel was impressive!

We were there for Sons wedding which was held at the Arrie ballroom the quaint downtown area was really all we saw. We were not there for leisure . However we did check out early and was recommended a breakfast place called Judy’s and it gave us more of a feel for the city and people. The food was so great and affordable we would come back to eat there again. Another side note is there are outlet stores for major brands right off the freeway
So I'll admit I've stayed at McMenamins venues in the States before. This place was well up to the mark, with quaint and funky rooms, sling with great staff and food.
The rooms were decent sized and certainly very on trend. Bathrooms clean and spacious, although some will not appreciate the walk down the corridor to "the crapper".
Food and facilities were top notch, Nd a great range of beers on site.
Best value hotel of my trip, and best place to stay in this town.
I booked the room because online it said there was a pool and continental breakfast. There was even a big sign at the hotel advertising their pool and breakfast. There was a little hand written piece of paper on their door that says the pool was closed and there was no breakfast. They blamed covid, this was after the state reopened. They should stop advertising what they don't have, they should put it on their website too.
The staff we interacted with were lovely. The room was larger than expected. The central location was brilliant.
The restored 1920s construction to the hotel was beautiful. Was my first time saying somewhere with actual keys, push button lights, and a deep claw foot tub.
Complimentary robes, ear plugs, and accommodation for late check-in (we arrived at 1130 pm!)
It was clean, comfortable, close to the location where we had a conference and very inexpensive. The manager was very friendly. Since covid even the expensive hotel chains do not provide daily room services and we were surprised to return from our meetings to find fresh towels, coffee, and toiletries in our room.
The parking lot was great we were able to park close to our room and not carry our bags through the hotel. The location of the hotel to some of the main attractions in Gatlinburg, is very good. The view from our room was also very nice. The room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.
the hotel was being renovated which they did not alert us before we got there, so the air quality was poor
there was supposed to be a breakfast included but on arrival they told us that there was no breakfast because of the renovations that they did not inform us about
This was a really fine boutique hotel Built-in the 1920s with a lot of modern upgrades. If you like vintage this is for you. The staff that checked me in was very friendly and knowledgeable. I would stay here again.
An older hotel just off the Interstate. It was clean and comfortable in spite of the older facilities. The view of the lake is nice. You can even catch a fish if you have a license and fishing gear with you.
Nothing. The expectation of a decent place to stay with booking through Booking.com fell way short of what I have had in the past. This hotel should not even come up as a place to stay.
Beautiful renovation of a 1920's timeperiod hotel. It was truly a unique hotel and should be admired for the historical features it still possesses. The ball room is exquisite!
This property was so unique and had so much character. A nice change from the usual chain hotels, especially so centrally located and reasonably priced.
